Great value with nice views
Only downside to this well priced and beautiful course is the beat up tee boxes of which almost none are level. However they had aerated the typical tee boxes so they should be given some
grace. It’s busy but every golfer I have played with are friendly yet competitive and nobody is in a rush.
I was very disappointed that every tee box was closed at the same; and paying full price. The temporary tee boxes were all set either above or below your feet. I do not think this course is worth playing anymore, no longer a good value.
This course has a Great Layout
I had the Best round of my Life! I finally broke into the 80’s with an 84. They are currently using temporary Tees which was an advantage on a few holes.
Great Value
Great value, the course is in pretty good shape but the fairways do tend to get firm late in the summer. Everyone there is super nice as well.
Fun to play
The course was tough and the rough was thick. Overall the conditions were fair and the pace of play was okay.
No newbies here
I was part of a threesome of new golfers playing this course for the first time. We were playing golf for the fourth time and playing a scramble style format in order to try to have fun and keep the flow of play. We were doing very well with the pace and adhering to the course rules until we were slowed on the back nine. We waited on tee number 12 for the bell to be rung as stated for quite awhile for the landing area to be cleared but it never happened. The couple behind us told us “oh nobody ever rings the bell”. Well. Long story short, by number 15 we get a visit on number 15 that our pace is slow. Mind you, our group is 3, the group in front of us is 2 and the group behind is 2. It really put a sting on our fabulous golf day. And btw, we waited on number 18 anyways for 5 minutes to tee off .
At the end of the day, I really like this course but whoever designed it should hand out hard hats for putting way too many tee boxes in play of other holes or plant more trees. 😊
Pleasant Valley
Course is in good shape. Only complaint was the tee boxes. Most were both very shaggy and tilted, but since I was hitting the ball off the wooden peg this was not a real issue.
Great place great value
I absolutely love this course. It’s a great value and absolutely gorgeous scenery. I think the turn on 10 is arguably one of the most beautiful sites year-round. But most certainly hole three looks beautiful in the fall.
Great Old school farm style course
right now June 13 the course is in great shape, the greens are a tad slow but super soft and easy to hold. the fairways are firm which helps shorten the course somewhat as well.
Pleasant Valley
Fairways were not cut but staff is great nice friendly atmosphere I will be back...
Staff very friendly
Staff was great, it rained alot this week,so the grass on the tee boxes and fairway was high. Long par 3's and 4's but a wide open course
