Heritage Hills Golf Resort
About
Heritage Hills Golf Course plays across the lush, rolling hillsides that York County is known for. The course has a classic design with some tough holes that will test even seasoned players. The layout also offers plenty of risk-reward opportunities that encourage you to carefully think about your strategy on each hole. The greens are large and undulating and the fairways are expertly manicured. Golfers will have to contend with the hilly terrain, particularly on the par-3 fifth and par-4 16th holes, which have the most dramatic elevation changes. Native vegetation accents the landscape and there are also interesting water features that come into play throughout. Heritage Hills Golf Course's pretty landscape provides some beautiful scenery to go along with your round, especially during the spring when the pear and cherry trees begin to bloom.

Overall great condition - greens rolled well !
Loved it .. but pace of play was terrible - 5:15 .. teed off before 12:00pm & saw multiple backups throughout the course but did catch the tail end of a scramble tournament ..
Regardless - course, conditions, staff, food all were great .. def. will be back
Handicap - 10.5
Overall golf is good, some staff not so much
Greens were fairly smooth but have seen them much quicker, pro shop gets a 3 star rating but bar staff gets a 2. Unless you’re a regular who is known you wait and wait and receive poor service. If I’d known about the poor restaurant staff I’d of save the $100 I spent there. It was embarrassing taking a client there and receiving such poor service. Your starter that day was aces, keep that guy on.
Worst PACE ever!
We arrive for an early 6:30 tee-time. Upon arrival the starter tells us they have an afternoon event, so they are sending off players from 1 and 10. Not a problem. But, you CANNOT send golfers onto the course at 6 to 8 minute intervals from both the Front and Back!
We turn the corner to go to No 1, and there are 3 groups waiting in front of us. 20 - 25 minutes standing around to tee off on #1! Ridiculous. If you are charging $75+ for a round of golf in Central PA, you do not need to be greedy with doubled-up tee times. Every hole on the second nine was a long wait!
I am done with Heritage Hills.
Heritage Hills Blast
Other than the construction on the 1st and 10th tees the course is in great shape. The greens roll true and I had a blast playing my best golf. Highly recommend this course to anyone coming thru the area.
Heritage Hills Treat
Got to play Heritage Hills for the 1st time in YEARS!!! There was some major construction going on at the 1st & 10th tees but that did not take away from the awesome round I managed to put together. The course otherwise was in great shape, greens were rolling perfectly and life was good. Highly recommend Heritage Hills to anyone contemplating playing a round there
Overpriced and Pick your time wisely
From our arrival on the driving range and putting greens, very impressive, unless you want a better feel for your distance ( which would be horrible). But to swing the clubs and warm up, I’m ok with that. Pretty cozy sitting areas and even extra features of some kind of videos I did not look into. Onto golfing. First nice feature was a cart equipped with gps, ball and club scrubber. Course itself very nice. Beautiful fairways and greens. However, lots of bunkers that more like hazards (fine with me, I just took relief, lol).
Cart paths left me with a case of whiplash. Kudos to my Ask Echo bag for keeping my clubs quiet. The real issue was the 5.5 hrs for 3 of us to play a round of golf at what is normally $75. While talking to other golfers in front and behind us, this seems to be a big issue at this course. Just keep this in mind if you choose to play here. I will definitely play again but I will choose my next tee time wisely. As we were finishing our round, it appeared to be very few golfers on the front.
Great course... but presently under repair
It rained earlier in the week... there were large standing puddles in the sand traps... but... they are fixing it... I nearly hit a hole in one... all in all, a good day.
Take the good with the bad
First time playing Heritage for a couple months. Noticed some new golf carts so had to try them out. Only a few new ones there so grab an early tee time to snag a new whip. They are decked out for sure. They have put some money into the course the past couple seasons. Top tracer range and now the carts. Need to invest in some new paths in places and the bunkers could use some TLC. That being said it looks like they are working on the bunkers as we speak so that may be next on the to do list. I always recommend Heritage in York. Nice mix of target golf and grip it and rip it.
Pace of play with no food
I played at heritage hills and the course was pretty and a great course for the value. Their tee times were 8minutes apart!!! Way too short. We had a backup starting on hole 1! There was a wait during every swing and what should have been a 4-5 hour round ended up me leaving after 16 holes because I ran out of time. Tee times was 7:30ish in the morning, so pace should have been better. No breakfast foods or any foods outside of chips or bar before 11:00.
So much potential for a great round at a great price but fell short. I can do without the food but I won’t be playing here again with such short times frames between tee times.
