Conditions were horrible not worth 28$ for 9 holes
Jack the Starter has a great personality.
Spoke to
Him before going out and has a nice conversation. Then I ran into him out on the course while I was looking for my list A wedge. He immediately offered to backtrack and ask other golfers. When our round was over I couldn’t locate Jack, but the club was in the pro shop. I know he had to have found it and turned it in. Thank you

Great Budget Golf when the weather is right
Ingleside is a great course to play after a week of rain and then two hot days to dry up the left over water. Otherwise, the greens and fairways are hard as a rock. You can’t get anything to stick and your club will refuse to take a bite for a divot. Putting is also not great in the uneven surfaces. The course is a good budget course, especially weekday, if the conditions are correct.

Greens burnt out already
The overall condition of the course was goo, , however the greens were burnt out already. For some
Reason they just turned on the irrigation system.

Dead greens
Only played the front nine but greens were in horrendous condition. They were all hard and dead as if they were not watered in weeks. The green on number 8 was unplayable and we had to pick up. Hopefully they can get the greens fixed before they lose them for the season.

Nice inexpensive course
The course is in fine shape. All tee boxes are good except one on very short par 3 which is still serviceable. Overall good value. No 19th hole bit for golf only I would recommend.

Tough Greens!
Holes are the perfect length for me, being a little old, but strategically placed bunkers and fast greens made it really challenging

Watch your step
Course is in mid-winter condition including the greens which i thought were OK but a tad slow. Not a knock but rather an observation, I now know where the goo in the word goose comes from'. But the greens are clear and looking forward to playing here again after the mowers. stir the geese up a little'

Poorly maintained municipal course
Tee boxes were beat up, greens were full of ball marks so it was like putting on bubble wrap, the pace of play was roughly 5 hours. It honestly was your typical municipal course. I had a free pass, and i still think i overpaid lol.
Ideal for those without great distance in their drives
Shorter holes make Ingleside ideal for those who can’t make the 240 yard drive needed for doglegs on some other courses.
The course layout keeps you engaged

Fall golf
Front nine has some challenges with falling leaves, greens were in nice shape , traps lack soft sand. Par three holes have some distance and situated nicely. Back nine much better, and challenging.
