Ingleside Golf Club

Had a tee time on a rainy day. Went to the course and said it is up to us if we want to play or not. We decided not to play. They tried to refund my money at the counter but I never received it. I called two days later to let them know I didn't receive it and was told to go through GolfNow. GolfNow will not refund unless the course is closed for weather. Why didn't they say this when they tried to refund me on the day I was at the course? Just bad customer service all around.

Pros: Decent elevation changes, very interesting layout at several holes. Reasonable price.

Cons: Paths are as cratered as the moon; we lost clubs bouncing over ruts. Ponds festering with algae, not nice smell in just two areas. Rest of the many lakes are just fine.

A good course if you just want to get out there and swing it around a little. Course was clear when I got on, no one in front of me. By Hole 6 as I got up to the tee, a twosome was just teeing off. As I was waiting, a 4 some drove past me, and a 2 some drove past me when I was on the green. Next hole there were about 2-3 groups in front of me due to this. They do a 5 holes for $5 deal so this was the cause of this. But no much organization in it. I ended up skipping the holes and it was clear after that, a little frustrating but I understand it, and it’s a good deal to get the younger generation interested in the game. Overall a fair course but nothing too special.

The course was in great condition and the staff is absolutely the nicest most helpful people. The scorecard may show this as a short course but with the tight fairways and elevation changes it is a challenging course.

First time playing here. Greens were immaculate. Will definitely be back

thing seem to be shaping up on the course , looks like a little more tweeking would make this one of the best courses around.

Had one of my best games there in along time actually better than Downingtown as far greens go this week.

This is a fun little course to play to get back in the win column. Many drivable par 4’s, a handful or short 3’s and only 2 5’s. Greens were terrible for this outing, they had just aerated the week before and they hadn’t recovered at all. Rest of the course was in good shape with a few challenging shots to be found.

This was my first time out this year so I needed a course I was familiar with to knock off rust. I knew they were aerating some greens which was fine, I just wasn’t expecting 4 holes to be completed unplayable, which was fine, I know it’s part of the process, but not being allowed to replay four holes to make a whole round was a little annoying. We got a little backed up on the back 9 but I think that was from the others skipping the hole prior.

Other than that, the other 16 holes were great, fairways were perfect, greens were decent. Only thought is that some tee boxes could use a tiny bit of TLC. Bottom line, I’ll play here again.

Listen, it is Winter and this was one of the few courses that was open. Yeah. Ground frozen, and ice in the holes, but it WAS 18 degrees. Staff was nice and did let the cart go out. You just have to revise your game to suit conditions...I will challege anyone on Earth to play #2 which is a short par 4 ,but requiring placing ball such that it does not bounce into the 2 ponds .especially the one in front of the green. Impossible when groind is frozen, and pond is not ( PLAY THE BALL AS IT LIES), plus green like rock as it was rock. I managed a 7 which was my only blemish on a round of 84 from the back tees. Course is short, so if you come when is warmer, and hit a long ball, play it from the back. I was 1st person out (a few were going out when i came in, and breezed around in 1 hr 50 min. I LOVE WINTER GOLF!!! Less hacks, quick play, and NO BUGS!!

When we first looked at playing here, seeing par 68 and 5100 yards, we didn't expect much. We had the first tee time, and the greens were freshly mowed. The bunkers were being raked and the staff was waiting for us. The layout was interesting, had some beautiful holes, and it isn't just back and forth. Lots of elevation change, large greens and a challenge for its length. Golfnow does show carts included for most tee times, but upon checkout, they are not. The course says it happens quite often that players expected carts were included in their fee.
