Broad Run Golfer's Club

A great round of golf on a perfect day, the course was in great condition, as probably mentioned in other reviews it is quite hilly, but if you stay in the fairway you are generally flat lie. Climbing hills to and from the cart to tee boxes and greens can be quite steep, but worth the effort.

Broad Run is a killer course in many ways. It’s always in great shape and lush. The layout is awesome. That said, if you’re a high handicap or don’t bring your A game, good luck. If you are not accurate the day you arrive, just plan on moving up a tee box to spare yourself the embarrassment. The course is ultra demanding and if you count all your strokes and don’t give yourself putts, it may be an eye opening day for you. I see people playing the wrong tee boxes every time I’m there. Be accurate or don’t show up, regardless of how long you think you are.

Was passing through the area and found this little gem. It was freezing cold (34 degrees), so there were not a lot of people on the course, so I cannot comment on pace of play on a typical day, but I played in 2:45. The course was in very good shape for this time of year and the greens were rolling true and the speed was reasonable. I am a 3-4 handicap and found it challenging but even a high handicap will be able to work there way around. Great staff, great hospitality and super fun layout. Would recommend to anyone.

I think for the area it is an amazing course……. For those with deeper pockets. It is heavily priced for the average golfer with bills. Overall if I can land discounted tee times I would soak them up. It was amazing to play there and the staff were absolutely great to us. I highly recommend this course to those who are okay with the $80+ expense.

Greens were in excellent shape for a mid march round. I'm 74 and it was cart path only throughout. That was very tough because it's so hilly. First time out this year and I was hurting at the end!

Course is beautiful but it is incredibly slow. I have played there a couple times and it’s always a slow round. Today took 5.5 hours. They charge a premium price that would be worth it to me if they kept the rounds under 5 hours at the very lease.

I need to play during the week for $65 or less .Dont charge for small bucket of range balls its insulting !

For the money I expected a better pace of play. Just over 5 hours, not acceptable!!!

I really enjoyed the course and the shots you needed to hit here. It was quite soft and I don’t know if it’s poor drainage, over watering or a combo of both. My bigger complaint was a course greenskeeper was an absolute jerk (I attempted some stronger language but was rejected) to us when we accidentally misread a sign on where to exit the fairway in the cart. Instead of a gentle reminder he went on a profanity laced rampage at us for our mistake. This was on the first hole so that set the tone for the day. The rest of the staff was great, just this one jerk who needs some anger management counseling.

Fun course to play with beautiful scenery and lots of hills. Very overpriced basket of balls if you want to practice on the range!

Weekday $70 senior rate with cart was a good value. Non senior weekday rate is overpriced. Tee boxes were beat up and greens were average. Haven’t played here in several years. Course used to be pristine. $125 on weekends is way overpriced for current conditions.
