Broad Run Golfer's Club

I've played Broad Run many times over the years, but this was the first time this year. Course was in excellent shape. White tees seemed to be back a little further than normal, which added to an always challenging course. Beautiful views and always a challenge. We teed off at 3:10 pm and played a crisp 4 hour round, even with letting a single play through.

Broad Run has a great layout, cozy grill, and challenging track. 90% of their bunkers were unplayable which was disappointing. Definitely be back

Each of the 18 holes are challenging, different and have great character.

first off I love Broad Run golf course. Always always will. I love the layout the distance. But unfortunately, $110 to play was absurd considered the patches of dirt on the greens ball was bouncing like crazy. You can’t be charged full price in the weekend now I know it’s the weekend but you can’t be charged full price if the greens are that crappy. I did mention it to the clubhouse afterwards and the gentleman in there and said yeah, but people are still gonna pay it no matter what. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

Ill Start by Saying the course is nice for a public course , however there are some maintenance and conditioning deteriotation that needs to be addressed, having played there many times but not for a while the course has deterioted.

The greens had been punched, no warning and still charged the full price and the carts are in desperate need of an upgrade , although I may have been an isolated bad egg here

the course get ssome heavy activity , so there are divots EVERYWHERE. and it looks like the maintenance are cutting some corners on the green side rough, not sure this was by design but if you miss are in the ruff between greenside bunkiers and the ruff , Good luck finding your ball and then hitting it

The other thing for 130 , its not s asurprise its hot out there , put some water points on the course

I wouldnt pay more than $90 to play here so if you can get a good GN deal take it and Enjoy

Course was in great shape. Greens were true despite being aeration within the last few weeks. Views from the course are spectacular.

I've played there about 8 times and the course is crazy fun. Challenging, interesting, beautiful views, just a great day. It's a little expensive but worth the extra money. I wish I lived closer so that I could play there more often.

My only complain is the lack of drinking water. Thier water fountain in the club house is set to a half inch and is unusable. No water on the course, so you have to ask the bar tender to fill your water. The beverage lady came around once, but there was no service after about 4:30. We tee'd of at 3 pm, so nothing to drink on the back nine. You have to provide something to drink. Do we all need to bring gallons of water from home?

Beautiful course with amazing views. Very hilly and challenging. Excellent condition.

If you can get a discounted rate $75 or less its worth it !

Great course and test of golf., highly recommend playing if you haven’t . Hilly , large fairways and scenic

The course is a fun challenge... BUT one major complaint is the LACK OF PIN POSITION on the course. They use the same color flag on every hole.. and zero pin position is given - so you have no idea if the pin is in the front, middle or back. For the HIGH price to play - you would think they would invest in EITHER different color flags or provide a simple pin position sheet daily. My guess - they are too lazy for either and just expect people to guess. This causes delays with golfers guessing and an overall poor experience for lower handicap golfers. Will I go back... sure - but it is not high on my list. Once a year I go and every time I am reminded that its a guessing game there for pin positions.
