Ingleside Golf Club

This is a nice, somewhat short, but kind of challenging layout. Good course to work on your irons and short game. Staff very friendly. Some of the pot bunkers will make you curse. Minor complaints: a bit overpriced, and the tee boxes were oddly not very flat at some of the holes. So had to ignore the tee-off markers at times.. Greens is good shape.

Course received alot of tlc lately paid off greens where close to perfect

If you plan on playing this course you might as well bring some friends that don’t know how to golf and have expertise in 4-Wheeling. Holes 1-10 offer flooded mud trenches, live animal interactions with geese, crater filled greens (or should I say “browns”) are just some of the things you’ll get with your overpriced play at Ingleside Golf Club. Don’t go here. You can find 40 other places that are less expensive and better maintain a better play of field. To close, here is a quote from our commander in chief, President Donald J. Trump ~ “Sad. Very, very sad.”

While I understand that this is a public golf course, they consistently allow singles and doubles out at ridiculous times. On a Saturday morning, my 4some was squeezed in between 2 2somes, which makes zero sense. The 2some in front of us included a player that was learning to play the game. We eventually let the 2some behind us play through only to be pursued by 2 more players out playing by themselves. I feel as though the golf course needs to not allow this to happen. I should not have to allow 4 people to play through because they are by themselves. Then, last night, on a Saturday evening trying to get in 9 holes, they allowed a father/son combo with no tee time to walk the course in front of us. These 2 ended up causing a 4-5 hole backup. Combining the price and shape that the course is in (looks like a car ran through the green on the 10th), I can honestly say that I will not be returning to this course as convenient as it is for me.

One of the worst courses I’ve played in 20 years of golfing.

Played here multiple times throughout the week and no problems but as soon as you hit the weekend every rule is gone. The guy working the front desk was rude, and hung up on our call about concerns we had. They allowed a six some to play all because “they need to hit a quota.” We only made it 9 holes in 2 hours due to the 6 six some. There is many golf course etiquette rules they have but do not care what you do. The greens had tire marks on them as well as tee boxes. I do not recommend it at all, I’d rather play at Clayton park.

Ingleside Golf Club has one thing going for it - pace of play. Not a ton of people were crowded onto the course, so we were able to in general play without too much rushing or disruption. Now comes the tough part - the actual course. We read a review that said the course was not well maintained, including tons of goose excrement on the course. We thought this was a raging lunatic who had it out for the course, but we were wrong. There were geese and the byproducts of them everywhere. The rough was completely overgrown to the point where it made it impossible to play. The tee boxes had weeds and the grass was almost like it didn't exist, it felt like we were playing on straight up dirt. The course layout didn't make any sense, most specifically on the back nine where some holes were intermixed with one another, making it extremely difficult to determine where the fairway was for one hole against another that was earlier on. One hole was even just a 50-70 yard drop, you had to walk up stairs to even get to the tee box. Overall, I do not recommend this course even though it's cheaper than some of the others. Even with the lousy conditions, we had a rain check from several days prior and the worker gave us a tough time on them because his co-workers messed it up and only gave us credit for part of a game instead of the full game by accident. I do not expect to come to Ingleside again and will instead be going to other courses that are more scenic and fun to play like Kimberton and Spring Hollow.

Every course has some goose droppings but this course takes it to a whole new level. There are some fairways so covered in goose sh¡+ that there’s no way to hit your ball w/o getting it all over your clubs, shoes, and the ball. It could be a great course but for the value; I’d suggest playing anywhere else.

Below average course. Okay tee box, terrible fairways, somewhat playable greens.

Pace of play was great. Fairways were great. Green’s rolled smooth. 5100 yard creates some great scoring holes from the blues. All skill levels

It was more of a Golf Now issue we bought the teatime as a hot deal but the courts charged us and additional unexpected $34 for a cart fee
