Ego Booster
From the men’ s tees, the course plays to 4600 yards, par 68. The two toughest holes were the par 5s, both about 500 yards with no roll due to wet conditions. It was fun to play, and a boost to my ego. I look forward to going back.
Ill come back
Fun short track. Most par 3s are up hill, except 10. 95 yards 50 feet below tee box. Back 9 seemed to play longer. Nice elevation changes throughout the course. Had rained a lot recently. Some bunkers looked like they hadn’t been worked on in months. Still fun, challenging enough, and a good deal. Looking forward to seeing the course next year.
Where glad you found the changes in elevation to be a good challenge. We'll look into your concerns regarding the bunkers, and hope you'll come back soon!
MEh..
First, the weather 2018 has not been kind to the courses in the North East. All the grass, fairway, rough, greens were too long. Tough finding a ball, secondly the greens were in about 75% shape, tire tracks running through one of them, burnt out, fungus ? etc. Tee boxes literally had no grass. Course was short, easy but playable. Little TLC and this course could be much better. There is potential...
Nice short track
Played Ingleside on the tail end of a real soggy stretch of weather that has affected much of the Mid Atlantic region, and the course was extremely soggy with some areas having casual water to contend with. This is a short course that you can play from the back tees, even if you normally play from forward tees at other longer courses. The layout forces you to think before pulling out driver. Often, the wise choice is to play hybrid or iron off the tee, which would still leave you in good position to approach green with a wedge or short iron in to short par 4's. Fairways and greens needed a mowing when I was there, which given the recent weather and course condition, is understandable. Overall though, Ingleside is a nice track I plan to return to; to try and get back some of those shots I left out there. A very welcome challenge.
course in excellent shape and the staff were very friendly & helpful - great day !! Awesome Father's Day gift...
Overall a nice and challenging course
The course is pretty good and challenging. If you are not in the fairway you might never find your ball as the rough is very high. The sand traps are also overgrown around the sides. The greens are in great condition and so are the fairways. I will play this course again.
Ingleside
Because of all the recent rain, nothing had been cut. Rough was ridiculous, but not by design.
Greens
The greens were very bumpy and you could not get a decent roll
Best Value in Golf
Always an enjoyable round at a terrific price. Friendly staff.
Good course
Good course for the money. Greens still in good shape for November.
Don't let the short distance fool you
Ingleside isn't long on distance (5000 yards from he tips). This course makes up for it by placing an emphasis on shot making. The greens are consistent -- not very fast. The condition is above average for a municipal course. It won't break the bank and can be played by all levels. It was perfect for a chilly fall day and my friends and I had a nice time. Our handicaps are around a 13 and it gave us plenty of challenge. Just keep in mind that this place isn't Pebble Beach but it also doesn't cost a lot to play it.
Ingleside Golf
Fun course, six par threes, a couple uphill and long. Traps need more sand, rough a little tough

Inglesides Golf Course at about 5000 yards with two good par 5's and 5 par 3's ( two of which play about 175 yds uphill ) was in really good shape. The key to this course as is the case with golf in general in to stay in the fairway. The rough does not appear deep at first brush, but it is a deal killer in terms of scoring. A terrific value easy to walk but there are a couple killer walks which will get your blood pumping. In these days of $90.00 ( or more ) for weekend prime time play, Ingleside is a great value at about $42.00 w/ cart .
Poor quality
I've played this course many times and over the course of the few years it's gone down hill worse and worse. The tee boxes are in bad shape, fairways are rough, the rough is more like a forest. The township doesn't make any effort to make it an enjoyable round of golf. For some of the rates they charge the money surely isn't being put back into the course.
First Time
I was visiting from California, my first time going golfing solo. I was added to a 3some. They knew the layout of the course and very friendly. By the end of the round, i had forgottsn that i did t know them. My next visit will include a few tee times there. Loved the course.
We look forward to your next round with us as well!
