Outstanding value/great course
Del Mar has the best greens around. You can't find an extra ballmark to repair. They roll true and relatively fast. Course is well-maintained and gives a fair test of skill and ability.
It's a golf course
The greens were decent but could be a lot better if they were rolled to smooth them out and cut lower to speed them up. They accepted shots well. The course design was fairly nondescript with no sand traps and essentially no water in play.
It's not a bad way to spend 3.5-4 hours if you get a good discount from GolfNow but I wouldn't recommend it at full price.
The course is not for the weak
Greens fast and true; great hole placements, fairways are in excellent shape very challenging
best greens I have seen on a public course
It is a gem, we are glad golfnow added it to the roster. Will play again every time I revisit the Pittsburgh area
was well worth the money
greens were quick and very nice. some holes were a little confusing to find if never played. would like to play again now that know the layout. would recommend for the price. if live in that area can't go wrong.
Don't play in the morning!
Nice course. The only thing I found incredibly annoying was playing in front of foursomes of members who all took their own carts and were playing speed golf. I'm a fifteen handicap and definitely don't enjoy slow play but these people were ridiculous. Playing as a twosome with my partner being a decent golfer we had to let two foursomes play through on the front because they were hitting up on us. Thoroughly enjoyed the back nine though. Overall a nice place. Would replay.
Great Greens
Excellent greens. Holes are fairly straight forward. The par 3's are lengthy, but a couple of the par 5's are reachable in 2. Overall, a great value for the price.
Great course for the price!!
My brother and I had a great round at Del Mar Golf Club. The starter was super friendly and the course was in good condition. The difficulty of this course is pretty easy. A lot of straight ahead holes and no sand bunkers on the course. If you are an average golfer looking to have a fun time with friends then Del Mar is the course for you.
Very easy layout. Unbelievable greens.
Every single hole is straight from the tee box to the green. If you want a difficult layout then look somewhere else. The greens were probably in the best shape of any green I have ever played.
Great conditions and layout
This course has great greens. Course in pretty good shape and challenging especially back nine.
I had never played here before today.
And I will definitely be back. The greens were exceptionally nice. The course was in very nice condition, even with all the recent rain. The staff are some of the friendliest you would ever want to meet. The course features a wide variety of different holes. Del Mar is probably the best value for the money of any course I have ever played. We liked it so much, we went around a second time. One caveat, the Google Map directions were way off. The course is within two miles of Ellwood City, despite the Wampum street address.
Looking forward to playing again.
Very impressed with the way the PIFGOLF worked. Staff at the course welcomed us and let us know we were all set to play. Got the cart, loaded our clubs and we were on the course playing is just a few minutes. Great experience. Thanks.
Great greens
Very good conditions, excellent fast greens, nice mix of short and long holes from the blue tees. Par 3's are a good test.

shorter length, the rough can get you in trouble, nice views...electric carts!!!!
A hidden away gem
The course was in excellent condition with no waiting times on any hole. Course is very hilly and tee shots need to be placed in correct areas to avoid trees. Greens were excellent, large and ran very fast. Some holes had great views of the countryside.

Good Value for the Money
Course was in great shape, but most are this time of year. It has some challenging holes and greens. Greens are in great shape. No bunkers but enough tight holes with trees and hills to require accurate shots.
Decent cheap course
It's still very early in the season, so course maintenance can be forgiven, but there wasn't much "fairway" to be had. The ball stopped upon impact and did not roll because the fairway was not cut. The greens were in great shape though.
Par 3's were pretty challenging. No real water hazards, open space so you could play your tee shot from 2 fairways over if you had to.
