Great Course Great Staff
This is a very tough course, if you spray the ball. If you keep it in the fairway you can score. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were fast.There are no gimmicks on this course.The course is a throw back to to the days of straight forward golf. Do yourself a favor and play this course without improving your lie. You might be shocked what your score might be.!
Course ok, has potential to be great
Course seemed overprice at $45 (should have been more like $30) due to course conditions. Layout and long length was nice (mostly straight holes), BUT too many overgrown trees causing for very tight and narrow fairways to hit from tee. Course was cut and dry throughout with fairways more like regular field grass cut low, greens were decent but some had bad spots needing repair. Course has better potential if they cut down every other tree allowing a more open fairway. Overall course was ok. Would play again if price is lower or of course conditions are improved.
Great course for the money
Recourse for the money, the workers are very friendly wide-open fairways.
Conditions of course
Lots of bare spots on the greens, tough to find golf balls in fairway due to long cut of grass. Tees also had many bare spots and not cut. Hard to putt on greens, like sculpted shag carpet! My cart had rented had a flat tire that i had to air up because of no help.
Play DelMar
The course is perfect for the mid-range golfer, excellent value, especially considering we played on a Sunday morning and friendly staff.
Staff made accommodations for me. Very nice if them to do it.
great time
We immensely enjoyed playing at Del-Mar for our second time in the last few weeks. It is a little dry in Western PA, but the fairways, greens, and tee boxes are watered and well maintained. Beware, you might have difficulty finding your ball in the rough or the treeline. It is a pretty course
We will be back!
We are relatively new to the area, and I love how the app shows courses we might not have found. Del Mar checks all the boxes for us. It is a relatively straight and long course that provides challenges. It allows each of us in our group, from beginner to pro, to play our own game but has fun as a family. We had a great round and will be back.
