About
Country View Golf Club is situated just 20 minutes north of Providence and just south of the Massachusetts state line. Its convenient location in the Blackstone Valley area is easily accessible from several major highways. The course sprawls across rolling terrain with beautiful trees lining the fairways. It's a player-friendly golf course where you won't find many bunkers or water hazards. Accuracy is needed though to navigate past the many trees and the undulating terrain provides a few tricky uneven lies. Country View G.C. finishes with a tough uphill par 4. This intimidating hole has out-of-bounds to the left and trees on the right and the trouble doesn't end there. The second shot climbs uphill further to a narrow, sloping green. You can try to go long but that can make getting up and down nearly impossible, it would be safer to go short and left.

5th Hole, 329 yards: Two bunkers guard the front of this green; large falloffs around it can also be problematic. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/28/2025
-
6th hole, 475 yards: Six, a short and strategic par-5, may cause headaches when your ball travels past this tricky green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/28/2025

A 386-yard par-4, nine is a fine test with a green that runs downhill from front to back. It’s a tough GIR. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/28/2025

At this par-5 of 514 yards, missing the second shot–into this cross-hazard in the foreground–is not beneficial. Nor is being short of the green on the third shot. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/28/2025

Fourteen is a beautiful, short par-4 that doglegs left. A draw is the ideal shot off the tee. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/28/2025

17th hole, par-3, 199 yards. I really like this seventeenth hole: it is long and slightly uphill; but it also plays to a small green flanked by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/28/2025

Hidden Gem in Northern RI
Started playing here earlier this year and keep coming back week after week now. Staff is friendly and course conditions are always great. Plenty of drainage throughout and hardly ever any standing water. Fairways are wide and greens have some good slope and speed to them no matter the pin placement or cut length. To wrap it up, I say go once and you'll be hooked!
Excellent course for the value..
This course is getting better as the weather improve
the staff are very kind and friendly .
Had a Great Day!!
Very Busy But not Over Booked. Would Definitely go again.
Great Place in Rhode Island!
This course was an unexpected, pleasant surprise! The conditions of the course were great for the deal we got on golfnow. I will definitely be coming back.
Awful conditions
I can't believe they have the audacity to charge $55 (listed $38 on website) to play a course is such disrepair
Not worth more than 22 dollars
The course had some nice spots, the water on the back nine added a nice feature. However, the sand bunker and tee boxes were terrible. There was really no true fairway, and the greens were some of the most inconsistent greens I've played. I'm glad I got a deal on the course because I could never pay 55 dollars for a course like that.
