Terrific challenging course in great condition. Timing was very slow this time. But might not be the fault of the starter. Played here a few weeks back and timing was ok. Challenging and hilly.

Great public course that offers plenty of challenges. The holes vary in complexity and design giving some fun challenges. Conditions were excellent. 1 hole shares a green.

A great course to challenge your course management skills. The par 3s were all great risk reward holes.

Good range and putting facilities.

The Inability to have a meal at the course before a morning round was a definite drawback.

New England is always excellent shape, friendly staff. It is a challenging course with fast greens.

Whenever you try to book a hot deal through Golf Now it says “Tee time unavailable”. There ends up being a pending charge on my credit card that falls off in a couple of days.

Leave plenty of time in your schedule. Notoriously slow. Over 5 hour round. Too many tee times. Other than that nice track.

First time playing here and absolutely loved it. Will come again for sure. I like tactical/strategic golf where you need to plan a shot ahead of time rather than just bombs away every hole. Greens were pretty challenging as well, which is always fun.

One hour frost delay contributed a little bit to the 6 hr round but was mostly due to 2 older gentlemen who decided to walk one of the worst walking golf courses in Mass. The ranger did his best to convince them to ride even though they still decided to walk. Now your patrons behind them have a 6 hour round. Just don’t allow walking. For those who have never played this course - it’s extremely hilly with some large gaps between the holes including a 15-20 minute walk between holes nine and ten. Just ride please. My experience was based on my first impression. Friday afternoon, 80 degrees and sunny. Staff at the clubhouse was not rude but could have been friendlier. Clubhouse selections were minimal, I forgot my hat and there weren’t many of options. It was clear that the course and clubhouse were old and not maintained very often. Started was great, lots of feedback on the course since it was my first time there. Cart paths were terrible and it was obvious that they hadn’t been maintained in a while. Has golf carts there could have been better. Fairways and greens were in great shape and well maintained, despite the fact they had just punched the greens the week before. That was expected for fall golf. Way-finding could have been better, luckily we teamed up with guys who have played here before. Snack shack at the turn was closed, very surprising for an 80 degree day. I would go back and play it again, but not on my top 10 list.
