Triggs Memorial Golf Course

After my round, my car was broken into in the parking lot. Alarm went off, didn’t notice till I finished my round 2 hours later .

Surprisingly not busy this day - played in 3 1/2 hours.

Course in good shape and the 19th hole was great.

Awfully manicured course, the greens were dry and air raided. , it’s an embarrassment they charge money to play here

The day was cold and VERY windy. This is a very good layout, but the weather and the aerated greens was tough. The aeration holes are huge and it does not look like they use sand on them, so very bumpy to say the least. All of that said, I look forward to playing Triggs again in a month or so.

I went just a couple of days ago, and we had 6 people total, i booked a 4some tee time, and 2 in another. HOWEVER, only 4 of us were actually playing, the other 2 were my Fiance and another guys wife and did not play a single hole. We got through 7 holes before me and the others that were playing were on the green, when the ranger, who was also the man in the "Pro Shop" rolled up to the two girls in the cart. And starting being aggressive for no reason stating that they must have stolen a cart, how did they get it, theres no way they paid and that they shouldnt even be here. I walked over and started talking to him when he clearly wasn't leaving. I tried to explain to him that we had paid for 6, which is why there are 3 carts, but only 4 of us are playing and that the other two were just riding along. He refused to listen and just kept being rude and stating we either had to split up or leave because we were slowing down pace. Which i also said was not true, we had to wait on the tee multiple times for the group ahead of us, and the 2some that mysteriously turned into a 4some behind us midway also never caught up to us. We clearly only had 4 golf bags for the 4 of us that were playing, but he said he had never heard of people being aloud on the course to just hang out and ride along which is also not true. Will never be back, there are plenty of other good courses to check out in the area. Only gave it a 2 star instead of 1 since he was "nice" enough to give us a refund. He couldve just come up and talked to us normally and everything would have been perfectly fine, we couldve just had the 2 girls leave and go do something else. but the way he started off accusing people and being rude was just ridiculous.

The staff was nice and friendly. That’s about it. The course was meh. Way too many blind shots especially if you don’t know the course. Again, nothing terrible, just not very great, that’s all

Triggs was unexpectedly closed today due to winter weather conditions in Providence. Unable to contact the pro shop, drove by the course to witness the course conditions - snow covered, parking lot was empty, pro shop was closed.

Great track!! The greens and the fairways were in excellent condition! The traps need a little TLC, but other than that it is well worth the trip/money to play there.

Best course conditions around. Course was fun to play and pace was great. No beverage cart on a 90 degree day plus no water in the clubhouse and no one to be found in the restaurant were the only bummers.

Back nine had no markings for holes. Flags are all the same color, so difficult to figure pin placement.
