Olde White Oaks Golf Course

Nice variety of hole layouts. Small but well taken care of greens.

The rough will punish you. Fairways can be patchy/thick in some spots. Good value course will be back.

I have always liked white oaks. It’s a little more pricey with new owners. Wish the greens were faster. Might be growing them out because it looked aerated recently. Other than that, it is in good shape. I’m ready to go back asap.

Friendly staff, fair priced. But letting an 8some play on a Sunday afternoon is absurd. Ruined pace of play, left on the 15th hole

The course design and layout is really cool and unique. Makes for some challenging approach shots and some tight tee shots. The green overall were good. They were a little long and made them really slow, but still good. However, the fairways were TERRIBLE. You could lace a drive right down the middle and lose your ball. In the middle of the fairway the grass would legitimately be ankle high. On MANY holes, there was no difference between the rough and fairway. And it wasn't because the rough was mowed down (the rough was difficult), the fairways were just that neglected and that tall. If they would maintain the course a little better, it would be really nice. Because the layout and design, I really liked.

I play lots of different courses thanks to my travel schedule. Some make an impression and I definitely look forward to playing again. This is one of those courses. Don’t judge a book by its cover definitely comes to mind. If you have a hint of golf snobbery than don’t waste your time. If you want to play a fun 18 holes of golf without breaking the bank then give it a chance. I played on a Monday knowing the amount of rain the area has had. I look forward to playing again on a drier day with fairway grass cut.

We played after aweek of rain and the course was wet. However we really liked the layout and pace of play. Some very interesting and challenging holes. .Can't wait to play when the course is dry. Lots of elevation changes. Greens were excellent

Played early May 2025 with my son, and the owner himself stopped and gave us the highlights of the course. That was truly a first for us. Speed of play was perfect. Layout was super cool with many elevation changes. Loved being out in the country away from the daily hustle. Dog laying on the club house steps was also a highlight! Such a relaxing vibe. Will certainly play here again.

I paid $70 on Golf Now & got there 20 minutes prior to tee time & the course was closed.

Hopefully I get a rain (snow) check for this.

I just love this course, the layout, the staff, newer carts, everything. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Nice golf ⛳️ course layout for Athens Eastern Tennessee with mountain backdrops on the majority of holes. Several holes elevation changes are 1 - 2 club change. Fall is a great time to see the foliage changes, however many fairway shots lost in the leaves 🍂.

Great course, friendly people, nice place to play if you have a slightly bigger group, Great price.

This is definitely an Olde course. As starred above the staff was very friendly and helpful. At the turn there was ample food to make the back nine. The Chicken Salad was excellent. The carts were in good repair and on the newish side.

The saying, The Course has good Bones applies here. Lots of interestingly laid out holes. Many times, we did not know where we were going. The score card has a minimal layout. Take your phone! We just had watches.

Ok, yes it was hot and humid. The ball went nowhere. The greens were mowed and puttable but tough to read. The crux of the problems were the pillow-like fairways with no roll and....the long and tangly rough. It was almost impossible long and tough to get out of.

As and 'Old Stick' I will probably not go there again. If you're a Young Gun, it might be ok for you.

Course nice needed starter and someone to ensure play is moving along had to follow a 7some and a 8 some slow play makes it not enjoyable
