Now Called Flagstone Golf Course
The staff at the course is very welcoming. The owner reached out to a female member to see if she could play with me while I was visiting family in Cleveland TN
We played on Wednesday and had a great time.
The course is in very good condition and the woman I played with said they had redone the Pro Shop and other amenities.
The course has no bunkers (they are there but it appears the owner is letting the grass fill them in). There is a creek on the side of #1 and #10 but you really have to spray your drive to have that be an issue. The real defense of the course is the high grass just off the fairway, If you are just a bit off the fairway there's a good chance you won't find your ball. The greens are also very tricky (fast and slopes can make a good approach shot roll of the green if you don't know the break of the green).
It's a very fun public course and I would recommend you play it if you are visiting Cleveland.
Nice course, nice greens, really rough outside fairways
Overall nice course, greens and fairways are nice, but the roughs are really rough. If you are prone to hook or slice you are going to lose a few balls. Not much forgiveness in the rough. Green fees are reasonable and the course is fairly easy and long as you are in the fairways. With a little work this could be a great course for a beginner. I'll definitely play it again.
Greatly improved
I have played the course 4-5 times a year. I was surprised by the improved course conditions. Tee boxes were well maintained, the fairways were lush and green, and the greens were in excellent condition. The greens were average speed. The layout is still average but the playing conditions are vastly improved.

The course is better than average but not much more. It is a pleasant layout and fairly straightforward. It was interesting that the course has 5 tee boxes so it can be played from a variety of lengths.
The price was reasonable and worth a pleasant round. However, this is not a course that you would host clients or other business.
