Mouse Creek Golf Course

Was there with friends, course just done a renovation on their greens and course, course looked pretty good for this time of year, could use a little more care and control of golfers, looked like they were driving in places that you don't want them to be, some was all the way up to the green , plus you could see old trails where they ran before, need to keep them on the cart path more, look like the greens where not doing to good had three or four that was ok but still showed light spot then rest of them was not good very thin in areas no control over putts ball jumped and moved in every direction, still have a long ways before it was the course of the years before new owners, used to be one of the nicest courses in Athens, Owners look like they just not putting enough time in course maintenance, don't think it'll be the course it use to be, hate that because I really love the course and the owners are great people just not managing the course that good, worse shape it has ever been in.

I don’t like to write bad reviews but I feel I need to let ppl know that are looking into playing this course that the greens are unplayable. The rest of the course is so firm, fairways are rock hard, can barely get a tee in the ground on the tee box. The course could be decent it’s just under maintained. The staff we met were very nice though, the older gentleman looking after the carts was great

I am a local casual golfer and this might be my favorite course in the area. Unique course with lots of fun par 3s. For the price it is hard to beat this one. Greens need some work but the course is fixing all of these in August so I cant wait to play it after that. Even so, the course is so much fun now. Would recommend to anyone!

Staff always very friendly. The course is a lot of fun.

Fairways are in really good condition, tee boxes are good. Greens need a little attention. Several of them are tucked back into the trees and don’t get enough air flow. A few fans could do wonders. Love the course. Love the layout, with just a little investment it could be incredible.

Fairways and Tess boxes were in good condition. Greens rolled pretty well. Still some rough spots. Fans would help the ones tucked in the trees. Always enjoy this course.

Fairways were nice. Greens were in rough shape. Tee boxes were playable. Decent layout. A couple of really fun holes. Large groups in front of us. 5-6 playing. We weren’t in a hurry, so it wasn’t a big deal. Had it been busy, they would have slowed the whole course down. Not a terrible experience for $25-30.

Loved the layout and the holes were very challenging loved the elevated tee boxes had a great time will definitely be back

4th time visiting and every time has been clean, quick and friendly. I don’t know what else you could want! great layout and priced below lesser courses. I’ll be a regular.

great course and great owners, needs more than that to make things better, course greens are in bad shape , someone told me this has been the story since new ownership, need to hire someone that knows how to repair and maintain a golf course, member plus visitors should have good greens to putt on, was a lot of trash in woods and just laying around course, limbs in your line of site ,needs a lot of trimming on the course, high weeds in area's they shouldn't be, and needs a ranger to manage where people go on carts, tracks everywhere. Management needs to promote more golf etiquette in their course, felt like I was in a hunting club instead of a golf course,

Public course in Athens TN few miles off I75. Really fun course. Owners continually improve the course..Very pleasant staff and reasonable rate. Well with it.

I got the first tee time of the day so I was able to play very fast. I was surprised how quick the greens were. Overall the course was in pretty good shape. A couple of the greens have some rough areas, but overall it was a good experience.

Mouse Creek is a really neat little course. The greens are in pretty rough shape and need some definitely attention. Fairways are in good shape and most tee boxes are relatively flat and in good shape. Enjoy the course and just deal with the greens.

Just learning to play this was actually my first full 18 as my first experience was exhausted before the end of 9 ,🤣 been practicing ever since shot. 105 I was overall happy will be going back the holes had multiple elevation changes great par 3 layouts bunkers could use a little rejuvenation and better landscaping but well worth the money very friendly let us start before tee time great experience...
