Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Great course!
12 Stones is the best public course is the Hendersonville area! It is a challenging course with greatly improved course conditions. Reasonably priced, this is a course you will love to play again and again! The food at the 19th hole is outstanding!

Not great
only the back9 was open due to "rain". not sure how you expect to operate a course in Nashville and not have proper drainage set up. staff attendant who was directing people to the back9 was extremely rude to every member in our group. can't believe they do not have the restaurant open on A HOLIDAY. business malpractice

The tee boxes were dirt and sand. The fairways were destroyed by slenders in the winter sliding down the fairways. The greens were washed out and covered in sand. The carts were nice. The practice facility was nice. I would recommend playing if the grounds get better.

Possibilities Endless
This once private rundown course has now turned public and under grounds changes/repairs. Most greens have winter kill which meant pin placements were is small areas, generally to the front of the greens. Be warned, this course has lots of slope with a meandering stream which comes into play on several holes This makes club selections off the tee critical, hitting the fairway is a must.
Once they get this course back to what they want it to be I'll would change it to a 5 star course, and I look forward to coming back to replay.

Nice Course
Reception, proshop etc was very good. Clubhouse is a very nice building, but only the pro shop and locker rooms open.
Course layout was a bit odd, you go past the 10th tee to get to the first tee, but there are no signs that identify the tees.
Some of the fairways had some bad damage from sleds over the winter. This did impact playability on a couple of holes. The greens were a real pleasure.
Lots of natural beauty and wildlife, this is a great setting. When this course is in top shape it will be breathtaking.
I highly recommend giving this course a try. Great value.

Never Playing Again
The greens were torn up on half of the holes. Fairways were destroyed on tons of holes. Cart path only made it a miserable experience. The restaurant isn't open on Mondays so there is nowhere to get food or drinks other than the minimal selection offered in the Pro Shop. Wouldn't play here again with someone else's money let alone my own.
