Twelve Stones Golf Club
About
Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Golfer Reviews
Rude
Staff was rude. Price was too high. Course in mediocre condition. Slow as usual. No water on course. I don't play here anymore.
Enjoy the concrete mats
Must’ve named their Sandtrap restaurant after their teeboxes. Played here consistently for over two years, seems like little to no maintenance has been done all over.
Great Course with Elevation
There were several holes that had large elevation changes. I don't play many courses like this, so it was a welcome change. I had to compensate for the elevation when selecting clubs which made it more difficult, but made it more fun. The views from the top of the hills were very impressive and we had a beautiful day to enjoy it.
Excellent course
Greens need some attention but they are not bad. Just need some touch up.
Just not very good
Me and a Pal played here last weekend. According to the starter, our golf now time was double booked and so we teed off later than anticipated. Luckily we were paired with a member so he gave us tips and true yardages to the creek that runs throughout the entire course. Without that we would’ve lost multiple balls because of the blind shots off the tee. The greens were just simply not good. Very furry. If you absolutely need a tee time for a weekend I guess you could play this, but I will not be back.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to review us, and for the 3 stars. We're sorry to hear the course may not have been in the best shape on the day of your round. We appreciate your feedback as we work to make any necessary improvements. Thank you for choosing to golf with us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon at Twelve Stones Golf Club.
Awesome
A shotmakers course to the max…,,,,,,Loved the course….
A Little Rough but Still Fun!
I play this course 3-4 times a year. I'm a little disappointed in the condition as it was always pretty well kept up. I'm told it's changed owners again and that could be the issue. Greens have some bad places in them. Tee boxes as well. I don't play it well but it's one of my favorite courses in Nashville, so I keep going back! Would recommend it, but beware the course is going through some tough times.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Twelve Stones Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Jenky
Tee boxes were really rough. Most of the course is either up a hill or down a hill. Our gps didn't work so it was hard to see where and how far trouble was. Pro shop has very little items with their logo on it. It was mid October sunny and 70. Greens were decent.

Great course could use some water
As usual the course is outstanding. Also as usual it is very dry. The greens are great, very fast and lush. The fairways are very good bermuda which of course is dormant now. Roughs are mowed high and are somewhat sparse which lets the ball settle down quite a bit and can be difficult to locate. Which is why I am always reminded to stay in the fairway! Wish I could. The tee boxes are another matter. Very dry and hard. Some of them were just dirt and most were very difficult to put a tee in. If they watered the tee boxes occasionally I would give this course a 4.7. As it was the other day, I give it a 4.3. Still a great place to play though, a great risk/reward course makes you think. And DO NOT MISS the Sandtrap Grill! Very excellent place to eat and have some beers after your round. The restaurant is a local favorite even for non-golfers.
Tough course with great views
I am a member and brought a friend. Absolutely loved it. Only issue was the rain, but we were able to play through. Staff and course is great.
