Twelve Stones Golf Club

Excellent, though exceptionally hilly layout. Only complaint is condition of the greens. That being said, they did a great job of keeping pins in better areas and the ball rolled pretty well all day.

Fun golf course.

Took 4 hours to play 11 holes. Walked off the course after hole 11. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of money.

Greens are horrible. areas around greens sopping wet.

Tee boxes sandy ant thin.

Nice new golf carts with GPS system on them.

They have lost the greens at Twelve Stones. Some of the greens are so bad you can’t find a place to putt. This is an expensive course but we always try to get deals on TeeOff but till the greens come back it’s not worth it.

Sadly, 12 Stones fell short of what I was expecting. From the pictures and the price of a round, I was expecting a well-groomed golf course. The golf course was anything but. Tee locations were very sandy and loose, greens were easily the worst greens I have ever played on, and the pace was play was far too slow (I understand this is hard to control).

All in all, I was hoping to have a great experience, but ended up going home after the 14th hole because of the quality of the holes and pace of play.

I have heard this course was great from many random groups I have been paired with over the last 2 years. Took the drive out and was pleasantly surprised by facility and practice amenities. Course layout was super fun and challenging but the greens were in terrible shape. I finished with a 79 but could have easily taken a few strokes (4-5) off that score because of the putt-putt quality of how the ball rolled. Between divot marks and the diseased/burnt out grass, it was as bad as if they had just aerated it. A few tee boxes are very uneven as well. Should have been a 30$ round and not 60.

Drop the price while you get the greens in good shape and then you charge the hermitage/gaylord level price point.

Too expensive for what you get. Tee boxes and green are mostly damaged or in bad shape. Hard to read greens even with leveling layout.

This was our first time booking Twelve Stones with golf now. We normally book thru their website. Upon arriving the normally nice Marshall Mr Beau told us we’ve paired you up with a single and that person is sharing one of your carts. I thought that was weird given I have seen in the past multiple times a foursome with three carts. We had no idea who would show up or when so about ten minutes from our tee time we rolled up to the first tee box. Along comes Mr Beau with our 4th and I said nicely Mr Beau I am not comfortable with my wife riding with some one we don’t know. He went ballistic and said when you book on Golf Now you are not guaranteed a cart you are guaranteed a seat on a cart! His attitude was not acceptable at that point and I said it says when you book greens fee cart included you are ripping that guy off! He paid for a cart. Mr Beau said no he paid for a seat. At that point I was a bit frustrated and said well I’ll be glad to move some bags around but I don’t think this is fair and we won’t be back. His response was fine don’t book with us again and as he walked away he said Golf Now is ruining this club! So apparently if you book directly with them you get treated one way. All the other times we’ve played have been great and he’s been very pleasant. If you book with golf now you get treated like 2nd class citizen. Just FYI.

Having played Twelve Stones several times each year, I was shocked to see the condition of the course. Tee boxes and fairways were is decent shape but the greens were absolutely terrible. Add to the fact they are charging $70 for 18 holes on Friday is highway robbery in my eyes. No mention of terrible greens in the clubhouse - actually told the course was in “great shape.” Nearly every green is thin with many bare spots. Couldn’t even keep a put online with the terrible shape and dead/bare spots. Very disappointed and certainly won’t be back or recommend this course anymore.

Starter at this course hates golf now players. He complained about golf now reservations because course doesn’t make any money off of it. My friend and I arrived 30 minutes before our tee time. We were not in a hurry, but he told us we would have to wait until the other 2 “golf now people” arrived. We waited for 30 minutes, 20 of which no one was on the first hole at all. He sent us off as a 3 some since the 4th was late. On the first hole a single came up to our group saying the starter told him to play with us because he wasn’t allowed to play alone. Later in the round a single caught our 4 some and played through. We found out that he was the 4th booked at the golf now tee time. So the starter made us wait for no reason, added a 4th to our group after we teed, then the single that he was trying to avoid passed us. All for no reason. Probably won’t return due to no common sense or common courtesy.

I feel like I could do a better job managing the course ? And I’m not a professional.

Not a good place to play . Best part of course is the driving range . Course is not worth $45 maybe $25 . Not worth the drive from murfreesboro.

The course itself was fine but not the staff, who were either indifferent or rude. The older men on staff just sat around in golf carts smoking. The putting greens were awful… all chewed up & replete with divots. Golf carts equipped with GPS regularly malfunctioned & had to replaced/reset at least twice to simply be drivable. Course has potential though & is actually decently challenging.

Great course, greens are in rough shape but other than that it is a fun course

I play in Mexico City in a similar course (just 9 holes), the only difference is that the fairways are wider in Twelve Stones and not so many OB's.

Loved the hills and layout.

I recommend it and will play it again as soon as I have an opportunity.

Just need to keep maintenance in the tee boxes and greens.

Greens rough, bad layout. Staff was very friendly however.

Tough course. Lots of elevation changes. Small greens. Some pretty tight fairways. I thought it was a good track though. Need to improve my iron play before I head back to this one.
