Twelve Stones Golf Club

For almost $70, you could better in the Nashville area. I like the layout here, a lot of fun tee shots, but the greens are in really bad shape, many of the tee boxes are not level to the point of being problematic, and no one was monitoring pace of play (with several very slow groups) on a Friday afternoon. The cart GPS struggles a lot, frequently beeping loudly and warning you to get back on the path when you're...on the path. Really annoying. And on top of a pricey round, a bucket of balls is $12. Other courses in the area at this price range include range balls with the round, some tees in the cart, etc.

Again, the greens. A lot of them are in pretty bad shape. The membership here needs to take some pride in an otherwise beautiful course and fix some ball marks!

Good layout but greens were pitted some and playing behind high school tryouts. Grandson loved the wildlife!!

Who ever owns this course is out of his/her mind. The audacity to charge over 60 dollars a round is insane. I’ve played 9 hole municipal courses in better shape. Slowest greens I’ve ever played, bumpy, and fairways are terrible. It makes me so mad they charge this much to play this cow pasture. Do not waste your time. The good reviews are left by the owners or paid for. Golf course is absolute s$&t

Tees-bad Greens-poor Fairways-fair . Guys in clubhouse decent to downright rude. Water was 2$ a bottle at tee time 3$ at the turn. No apologies for inconsistency. No water on course. No cart service. No rangers. Too expensive. Sorry not coming back. I wouldn't bother if i were you.

Was my first time there. Loved the layout however the greens need some work. Very inconsistent and slow. Overall though I will definitely play this course again.

Play was very slow because a foursome with “two extra riders” kept playing as 5 or 6. Alerted the club house after 11 holes. The rangers dealt with the situation and kept an eye on that group to pick up pace of play. Nice to have the rangers actually make it happen as opposed to some other courses.

Really fun layout and solid greens. For the most part well kept. Challenging and fair.

Fairway conditions were terrible. Felt like you were hurting the ball off of dirt regardless where you were on the fairway. Sometimes the rough was like that as well. Greens were also rolling very slowly.

Fairways were very patchy and the ground is hard as a rock (bring a hammer for your tees and expect your drives to roll forever). There’s almost no flat lies on this course but it is mostly due to the fact that the course feels kind of forced onto the hills. Played from the tips and several of the tee boxes were uneven or had no grass (and I do mean zero grass). Greens were okay, but they seem to have a problem with people not repairing ball marks. Would be an okay course if it was more plush, but it is a difficult and awkward layout. Played okay so this isn’t an angry review.

This is the most up and down, steep/downhill course I’ve ever played. Extremely fun, got this on golf now for $15! Absolute steal! Also hit my first hole in one on number 15. Definitely will play this one again!

Just overall horrible. Greens were beat up, fairways were rock hard and just as much dirt as there was grass. Tee boxes were basically a construction zone

Enjoyed playing this course for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. It is an hour away from my home in KY and an hour away from where my son lives in Shelbyville, TN. Wonderful course that can be very challenging. The views around the course are absolutely wonderful. Tranquil, peaceful with a ton of deer around the course. Tons of hills to go up and down from. No true blind shots.. Plenty of water. Greens were superb. Tee boxers need some help. Grass has not fully filled in on the boxes. Will be back!
