Twelve Stones Golf Club
About
Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Golfer Reviews
Enjoyable course
Fun course, greens in great shape, will play again
Hills for days
Great course! The hills will work you if you don’t know your approach. Always a good time. Staff and clubhouse is one of the best in Nashville area. Highly recommend getting some food and drink on the turn always good.
Tough but fair
Course was in great shape for February. Greens we’re pretty fast and true. One of my top 6 courses I’ve played
Beautiful layout to look out not so much to play.
I love to look at this course. That’s about it. It is beautiful. However, it is the most frustrating course I have ever played. The 5 of the 9 holes on the back 9 are on the side of massive hills. And one basically goes up a mountain (hole 14). I love the way it looks, but it is terribly frustrating to play for an average golfer.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future. Thanks for choosing Twelve Stones Golf Club.
Great course, greens need work
We loved this course. I would have preferred to play with the two of us, and though the course was not even close to being full, the staff paired us with two randoms. Not ideal for us, but the layout is fun! Greens need work in some places. Nice to have a driving range, and overall it was a great experience. Would recommend!
Twelve stones
Loved the course. It was the day after a bad rain storm so conditions were a little muddy but the course still played well.
Hole 14, seriously!!
Love this course, and yes I am a member and resident. This course has really improved over the past few years and is turning into a really beautiful course. It is challenging, at least for me, with its radical changes in elevation, but it's still playable for novice golfers from the white tees.
The front 9 is fairly easy, except maybe for hole #3, but the back 9 will really challenge you. Don't let hole 14 get to you because right after dealing with it you will have to face hole 15.
The SandTrap pub has really great food and service as well so make sure you stop in for a bite after your round, you won't regret it.
Great!
Great place to play!!
Moved too slowly
Played Sat 1/23, keeping in mind it last rained an inch or so on Wed 1/20. If they're still cart path only 3 days after a relatively small amount of rain then odds are you're going to be cart path here more often than not. If it's crowded like today there's bound to be groups that will force you to a 4.5 -5 hr round. Some are taking forever just to complete a short par 4 like No 14. I'm familiar with this course pretty well and just didn't see where conditions justified the CPO, especially on a busy weekend. Other than that it was a decent day. Like the newer mini bunkers on some holes where they've reduced the size,
