Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Everything but Greens

Not all greens up to standard of rest of course.

Challenging greens but not currently well maintained. 18th a sad way to finish too with repairs needed on it.

Best elevation changes in Nashville, Tore up greens

I really want to like this course more, but the greens were pretty tore up and pace of play was very slow. My most recent round here was a early afternoon weekday tee time and there were 3 groups on each hole by hole #3.

Will likely be my last round of the year here until the greens clear up. At a better pace, this course could be one of the best in the area with the elevation changes, really cool layout.

Best Value in Nashville area

I play around the Nashville area several times a month, twelve stones continues to be the best course for the price in this area. The carts are VERY nice and the Staff is extremely friendly. Course was in amazing shape, and greens are much better now than I remembered earlier in the year and fairways are well maintained.

This is the course I recommended to others. Hasn’t proved me wrong once. Great course, and great staff as well.

Nice track. Dreadful greens

Love the layout of the course and its condition in general, however the greens in part were like minefields Doesn’t anyone repair ball marks anymore?

Had to cut short our round as they closed the course due to weather coming in. When we got back the pro shop was locked up and no one was around to talk to us about a rain check. A little better service would have been appreciated.

Beautiful and scenic course.

Fairly extreme elevation changes that make for some beautiful hole layouts. Several holes seem designed to challenge you with a risk reward choice. This was my first time here but I will definitely book again very soon.
