Twelve Stones Golf Club
About
Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Golfer Reviews
Dry and in good shape
The course was in great shape especially for winter. The only puzzling thing to me is the cart path only rule. But it was a fun course to play!
Decent but very odd starting plan after delay
Played at this course a few times, it's ok overall - little pricey to me for what it is. This last time may be my last based on the way their mgmt handled a delay. For some unknown, unbelievable reason, the guy I was told was the club pro sent groups off the 1st AND 10th tees at the same time. Sure that gets rid of a delay faster and gets anxious golfers out of the clubhouse, but what happens in roughly 2 hrs when those turning from 18 to 1 find golfers backed up on 1? Well they paid dearly for that decision made with infinite wisdom as someone coming from 18 to 1 had an absolute meltdown. He appeared to be 60 going on 6, someone said he was a member but I'm not sure. Regardless, it was a dumb move that created an embarrassing scene and makes you wonder what else they do around there based on that nonsense. If I want drama I can stay at home!
my thoughts on 12 stones
Always friendly and happy to help me out! the price is an ok value ( I always want it to be less expensive ). The course is fun and challenging. once they are done with repairing some greens and tee boxes it will be fair priced and a great time !!
Good course, bad staff.
Started 40 minutes past our tee time because of a shortage in golf carts. Then waited another 20 mins because the first hole was backed up because of the shortage of carts. Still would’ve left this course a positive review, but I kid you not, less than 10 minutes (not exaggerating) into our first hole, the starter that had yet to be friendly or helpful in any way decided to come give us a talk about we needed to pick up our pace of play, though we were constantly waiting at each hole for the group in front of us. We won’t be back to this course. Backup’s happen. How they’re handled by staff makes all the difference. This staff was a huge let down.
First time in a long time. 6 handicap
I had not played this course in probably 15 years as it had deteriorated. For all the rain we had this past weekend, the course was very playable. It looks as though they've gotten it back into shape. The greens were smooth for this time of the year. A couple of the greens are a little crazy with severe slope but all in all, was still very enjoyable.
Good value.
Course was busy in a beautiful Dec day with a short frost delay getting going. I like the continual improvements.
Twelve Stones review
Fun a s challenging course, enjoyed myself a great deal greens are in excellent shape for this time of the year
Challenging but fair.
Second time on Twelve Stones, will not be my last! I am moving to the Nashville area next spring and intend to play here often. Many good risk/reward opportunities for many different ways to play this course.
I will say several pin placements made us suspect the greens-keeper may be going through a divorce or something! Some of the cups reminded us of putt-putt holes. This was the only somewhat negative we could say about our day.
The Sandtrap bar and grill is so good, I will go there for lunch or dinner even if I'm not golfing, it's that good. Great staff, very friendly and professional while the food is excellent.
Pure Greens
Greens were in great condition for this time of year and were the quickest I have seen them here over the last couple of seasons.
