About
Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Fake Reviews
The course is obviously posting fake reviews. Read most of the reviews stating how bad the greens are and then magically there’s a post talking about how they’re not bad. They are very very bad. They don’t grab your clubs from the parking lot. That’s a lie. Most greens have entire swaths of death on them, and they are not “out there working hard on them” - that is also a lie. There’s no sand on them, there’s no seed on them, they’re not roped off... they are not doing anything. They’re simply charging full price and packing the course as right as possible. Don’t fall for fake reviews.

Great Layout and Staff
I was pleasantly surprised at a public facility when cart attendants grabbed my clubs and loaded them up into a golf cart. The staff was overwhelmingly nice and felt like i was at a very nice private club. The golf course has a great and challenging layout. I can tell they were doing a lot of work out there with the maintenance staff very visible throughout the golf course. The greens were in decent shape, i understand as a golfer with bent grass greens in Tennessee that they are hard to keep alive this time of year but ive seen much worse in this area. some dry spots on greens like 1, 15, and a few others but when i was out there i was told about them and noticed the greenskeeper working hard on them. Great golf course and cant wait to give it another go next time im here.

Completely unacceptable
This course is in unplayable condition. The greens are completely trashed. I can’t believe they’re even open, I’d be too embarrassed to let golfers out. They should seriously consider shutting down for the year.
GolfNow won’t let me upload my photos, I took many. Every green is a war zone. Pot marks, dead patches, crab grass. Forget about this course. Go ANYWHERE else.

Horrible condition
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS. COURSE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND REPAIRED.

Course in horrible condition
The course layout is beautiful but the course itself is a wreck. Some of the worst golf course Maintence I have ever seen. THEY NEED TO SHUT THIS COURSE DOWN TO DO REPAIRS EVERYWHERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely will never come back and play. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Dress Code
At the pro shop I was told that I could not wear my cap backwards.... not sure what to make of that considering that folks were wearing untucked shirts, sandals, gym shorts etc...

lost the course
obvious they lost their greens. bent greens in the extreme heat is a tough duty. the greens are awful. tore up with very little grass on them. i wont beat them up too bad on that because again, its so hot for 2 weeks and this isnt a high end course so $$$ to maintain is limited.
but equally as bad were the fairways. rock hard with massive bald patches and then other areas that were completely unmowed and played like rough. it was sad. and id say 10 of the teeboxes were flat putrid as well.
But the layout of the course is awesome. its a really fun tract. all the holes are great and rewarding. its potential is off the charts. just needs lots of love and $$$.

Course is in rough shape
Played this course for the second time in 2 weeks yesterday and we were sadly disappointed. We played another local course that was at a cheaper price point than 12 stones and it was in much better shape to play. Hope they can get this fixed up sooner rather than later. Greens are all torn up. The maintenance staff was mowing and watering on almost every hole we played that day. Overall disappointing experience.

Great Hot Deal!
I was in Nashville visiting my daughter and looked for a hot deal on a whim. Booked a tee time for $12!! Unbelievable. This is by no means a $12 course. I got lucky! Staff was very friendly. Course was in great shape. Bunkers need some work but that’s not their fault as Nashville has been getting tons of rain. Course has great features, and a really pretty layout. I liked this course because it is a challenge but it’s fair. If you hit good shots you’re rewarded. I’ll definitely come back!

Course is in better shape than the last time we played. Greens are pretty rough with burned out spots on many greens. Fairways are in decent shape...traps need some work...many are washed out and unplayable. Staff and grill were great...very accommodating.
