About
Located just 20 minutes north of Nashville, Country Hills Golf Club in Hendersonville is not only conveniently situated, it also offers a challenging round for golfers of all skill levels. The narrow fairways demand accuracy, especially on the front nine's tricky par 4s. The holes on the back nine are somewhat more open but those benefits are offset by a variety of well-placed hazards and hillier terrain that make it the more challenging of the two nines. Playing with someone who is familiar with the course or at least thoroughly studying the scorecard beforehand would be helpful. Golfers should brace themselves for the especially treacherous second and 15th holes. To prepare for this formidable test, golfers can warm-up on the large driving range and putting green.

Worth the money
Good course to play can be very challenging. Very well maintained. Scenery is amazing!!!!
Challenging course.
Course is nice overall. Very challenging. Fairways are tight and if your ball is lucky enough to land there you'll have an awkward lie. If you're a hoofer like me then it's tough but better golfers wont struggle as much.
decent public course
The greens definitely needed some work And the mowers were literally with our group the whole back 9. It was a tough course and the round was a little faster than expected

Good Value
course is overall in good condition. A few greens are burnt out much like other area courses. I enjoy the layout and strategy that goes into this course. Will definitely be back.
very friendly staff
I’ve played there a lot and have never had an issue the staff there is very good.
Tee boxes and greens were a little rough in some spots, but overall it was in good shape. Basically no hole is straight and flat, makes for a really fun round. Will definitely be back!
Course has nice tee boxes and fairways are pretty good
Course is ran very well with staff. Tee boxes and fairways very nice. Pace of play ok but we were a two some playing behind a foursome. Great course for the money. Will be back.
Country Hills
Overall good shape For course but some of the greens were battered and very slow. I played out there in the past maybe 10 years ago and the greens were in great shape and fast. They need some work.

Great value
Fun course, it makes you think, especially the front nine. Tee boxes were a little rough on the front nine. Staff was great, nice clubhouse and the guys in it. Good value, well maintained, fun course.

Tight Course/Needs TLC
Been a couple years since I played this course, Forgot how tight it was. Not for a beginner for sure. The course has lost a lot of TLC from what I remember. Golf carts are all taped up on the seats with Duct tape.
Staff is still very friendly, However the bad odor when walking into the clubhouse is sickening. To have that smell coming in at the turn to get something to eat?? wow!

CHGC is a very scenic course. I always enjoy my rounds there. Play smart and you will be rewarded.

great great great shape
the course was in great shape the greens was in great shape and putted quick the fairway and rough was in great shape and mowed good no losing balls in the rough just the water hazard no complaints probably one of the course i played this year that was in perfect shape keep up the good work the pace of play got a little slow on the back nine but still fiinish under 4 hours just wish i could of played better can't blame it on the course just me
