About
Located just 20 minutes north of Nashville, Country Hills Golf Club in Hendersonville is not only conveniently situated, it also offers a challenging round for golfers of all skill levels. The narrow fairways demand accuracy, especially on the front nine's tricky par 4s. The holes on the back nine are somewhat more open but those benefits are offset by a variety of well-placed hazards and hillier terrain that make it the more challenging of the two nines. Playing with someone who is familiar with the course or at least thoroughly studying the scorecard beforehand would be helpful. Golfers should brace themselves for the especially treacherous second and 15th holes. To prepare for this formidable test, golfers can warm-up on the large driving range and putting green.

Wonderful Experience
I have always enjoyed playing here. The staff is always excellent and super friendly. The course is usually (I say usually because COVID-19 may have been the cause for some small maintenance issues) always in great playing condition. I live close to Twelve Stones golf club and will always drive the extra miles to Country Hills. A challenging course because of the HILLS, but I always end up with a great overal round. My favorite course by far.
5 hour round
Not a single Marshall out on the course to help pace of play. My group and I play every single weekend all over Middle TN, we have never waited on every single hole until today. The group in front of us was yelling at people on their decks along the course and the group in front of them were moving at a snails pace. Needless to say, we’ll stay away from this place. This was basically the straw that broke the camels back, tried to give this place one more shot after they completely ruined my birthday round in October, the staff was outrageously rude even after I called to make sure it was ok for a 6 player scramble for my bday 2 weeks ahead of time(which they said absolutely, come on out) and believe it or not it was because of pace of play when we were 1 of 4 groups out with no one around us. I just don’t get it with this place, country club attitudes with below average experiences. I’ll spend my $ elsewhere.

Only complaint is the even if you’re in fairway, chances are you don’t have an even lie.
Pretty Course
I always enjoy this course. One hole needs to be redesigned and one other has blind shot over a hill, which isn't ideal. I still play this course even knowing these details as it a a really pretty course.
Great course.
Greens were in great shape. Was raining so fairways were wet in spots, but overall course was looking good. Will definitely play this course again.

Enjoyable course. Friendly staff. Good practice putting green. I had a lot of fun
Fun course/bad management
Last time we played it started to rain. It’s a hilly course and apparently someone flipped a cart. We were one pair out of maybe 5 groups on the course, and it felt like they just wanted to close and go home.
Manager meets us on 9 and give us 9 hole vouchers because they didn’t want anyone out. Then asked us not to book on GolfNow because they don’t see any profit. When we asked why they use it, he said for ads. Then quoted us pricing well over the GolfNow rates. We play a lot of golf and try to save money where we can.
We were not allowed to use bathroom on the way out because they had already closed it. And then he said the water was out anyways. Weird interaction. Not sure I’ll be back.

Overall experience
Nice layout but has a few "different" holes. Greens were awesome for winter.
mountain cow pasture
w.orst course we ever played. A mountain cow pasture! The greens were bad shape. Ball and spike marks all over. The tee boxes were so dry that I broke some tees just putting them in the ground.Very hilly.Golf carts in bad shape. sputtering and popping alot. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!!
