About
Located just 20 minutes north of Nashville, Country Hills Golf Club in Hendersonville is not only conveniently situated, it also offers a challenging round for golfers of all skill levels. The narrow fairways demand accuracy, especially on the front nine's tricky par 4s. The holes on the back nine are somewhat more open but those benefits are offset by a variety of well-placed hazards and hillier terrain that make it the more challenging of the two nines. Playing with someone who is familiar with the course or at least thoroughly studying the scorecard beforehand would be helpful. Golfers should brace themselves for the especially treacherous second and 15th holes. To prepare for this formidable test, golfers can warm-up on the large driving range and putting green.

Fun course/bad management
Last time we played it started to rain. It’s a hilly course and apparently someone flipped a cart. We were one pair out of maybe 5 groups on the course, and it felt like they just wanted to close and go home.
Manager meets us on 9 and give us 9 hole vouchers because they didn’t want anyone out. Then asked us not to book on GolfNow because they don’t see any profit. When we asked why they use it, he said for ads. Then quoted us pricing well over the GolfNow rates. We play a lot of golf and try to save money where we can.
We were not allowed to use bathroom on the way out because they had already closed it. And then he said the water was out anyways. Weird interaction. Not sure I’ll be back.

Overall experience
Nice layout but has a few "different" holes. Greens were awesome for winter.
mountain cow pasture
w.orst course we ever played. A mountain cow pasture! The greens were bad shape. Ball and spike marks all over. The tee boxes were so dry that I broke some tees just putting them in the ground.Very hilly.Golf carts in bad shape. sputtering and popping alot. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!!

Travelers
We travel 100 percent in RV so we use Golfnow to find good deals on golf. Has worked great. This was a challenging course.
The name says it all
Very hilly course with lots of elevation change and blind shots. Course was in very good condition, greens rolled true and the fairways were in great shape. Challenging track with relatively narrow fairways so driver is not needed on every hole. Be smart and layup when necessary you will still be able to attack the pins as the greens are very receptive.
Nice Course!
I played this course recently and enjoyed it very much. It is not an easy course because of blind shots and narrow fairways. The fairways were in good condition. The rough was fairly thick, but the greens were very slow. Overall, I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone.

Great Course
Always a good time playing here, the course is great and the staff are always the best.
Enjoyed
Well laid out, challenging but playable for all including non-professionals (like me).
Greens-would not have booked
The course condition was mainly due to heavy rain, which was out of their control. However information should have been provided prior to booking and prior to playing that the greens has been aerated.

knock the rust off
A bit cool, Mid 40's. course still a bit wet from rain, but over all not to bad. cart path only. greens still in pretty fair shape this time of year. several golfers on course.
