Good day at Saddle Creek.
This is our First time playing saddle Creek. We were paired up with a very nice pair of gentleman from Franklin Tennessee. The layout is nice and smooth it plays well it does provide a good test of golf. Greens are in very nice shape. We will surely be back to make a run at this place again.
Good course but slow today
A fivesome was allowed to play without intervention. Slowed things waaaaay down.
A good day
Nice course with some tricks up it’s sleeve in terms of positioning. Very small but forgiving greens. Enjoyed it and I’ll be back.
Just a little to late
The greens were being prepped for winter and I necee had a ball roll more than 6 feet on any of the 18 greens. Other than that beautiful and challenging course.
Great condition
It has been several years since we last played at Saddle Creek. We were thoroughly impressed with the condition of the course. The greens were a little slow, but rolled very true. We started at 8:10 and finished at 11:40. Very quick round.
Nice Course
Played SaddleCreek for the first time today. Pleasantly surprised. Course was in good shape, fun layout and good pace of play. Good value, just wish it was a little closer to Nashville. Definitely be back.
Course is in great shape. Greens are really good, fairways are also in great shape. Course is really great from 2 yrs. ago.
Course has improved a lot since I last played it. A few of the greens are stressed, but overall the course is in good shape. I think the course should have more Covid-19 policies in place. The entire state of Tennessee has been very lax in it’s policies. WEAR A MASK.
Fun course!
It was my first time on this course, my wife had played it once before. Since then, the course has new management and my wife confirmed what the clubhouse manager told me: the course has been upgraded and it is in much better shape than in 2019. Each hole was in great condition: the tee boxes and fairways were looking good and the greens were very soft and was easy to line up putts (but doesn't mean I sunk each one! :-) ).
One point: the course restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday so there were no drinks or food available - we didn't know this until we arrived. There were a few water stations along the way but having some snack available would've made for a more enjoyable experience.
We'll be back, I'm sure. If you played this course before this summer, you should come back and try again.

Commendations to the owner and staff. Played here a year ago and the course was a little spotty in areas. Not any more. The fairways are plush and the greens are sticky. From tee to green the track is in awesome condition. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great day on the links. Worth the drive if you live in the Nashville area.
Course in Great Shape for Mid-July
I have not played Saddle Creek in several years but my Father in Law came to town and wanted to play. I saw reviews that the course was in good shape and decided to go here.
This course is in tip top shape for it to be mid July and minimal rain in the area for months. The tee boxes were great, fairways cut perfectly and the greens were incredibly soft and made reading putts much easier than other courses I have played in the area.
Play this course if you are looking for a great course that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to play 18!
Wish I lived closer
I wish I lived closer to this course. They have really done an exceptional job within the last year. Greens are great, fairways in good shape and the rough in places can be real challenging. This course will stay in my rotation.
Course was in good shape. Greens were better than average.
