Course has gotten way too overpriced
Quality of the course hasn’t been quite as good as past years. The prices have increased significantly as well. IMO not worth the cost to play here.
Not terrible
First time playing. Played on a Wednesday morning. Not busy which was nice but caught up to a twosome who were going quite slow around 15. Course was aerated recently and there were quite a few dead patches all over the fairways which made playing a bit annoying. Greens themselves were in good shape but the fringe on each hole was in bad shape and there was a small lip to get on the green which made putting from the fringe or a bump and run bear impossible. Price was respectable but was hoping for better conditions. Course layout was a bit strange and a few holes i needed to rely on my gps to tell me where the flag was or I wouldn’t have known. Also the bar/restaurant was of course closed on Wednesdays so that didn’t help

Weather has been our issue and not only ours but across the state. We were part of a survey with the University of Tennessee, and the results were “67% of superintendents indicated that their bermudagrass fairways are emerging from winter dormancy at a slower rate than in years past. These numbers were striking and highlight that slow bermudagrass green-up on fairways in 2023 is a statewide phenomenon that isn’t confined to a singular property”. They listed four main reasons, Drought Conditions in Fall 2022, Historic Freezing Event in December 2022, Traffic on Dormant Fairways, and Temperature Fluctuations in Spring 2023.
The Bar & Grill at Saddle Creek is closed on Wednesday's temporarily until we can get fully staffed.

Under going changes in management. Bar and restaurant were not open meaning no food on the turn. Range was also closed

Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club and providing us with valuable feedback. We will always strive to do our best in the operations and maintenance of the course. Our restaurant was being leased and now we are taking over to make it geared toward our golfers. We are hoping to have it operational by the first of April if not sooner. The range was closed because we had a lot rain in the prior days and the ground is very saturated and we lose many balls. We hope you give us another shot to raise your 2-star score.

Well laid out, good value
I really enjoy this course, well maintained and nice lay out. Short Par 3s. And overall shorter side at 6300 from whites and 6700 from the blues. Both #9 and 18 and very nice as they approach the clubhouse. Restaurant has some good choices, but not open everyday.

manage play is important
Had high hopes for this track but when there were no tees at the short distance.....Very disappointing.....Loads of singles that hit into everyone we had 3 different ones behind us...........hello manage the tee sheet......the quality doesn't match the price.......the bar for quality is high @ $60........might just as well have played The RTJ trail for less.........

Looks like you have Augusta expectations with every course you step on with a 3.5 average star rating you give to the 64 courses you've reviewed.
We have tees at every location on our scorecard. Our green tee is marked by green saddles on the cart path because they're very far forward. We allow singles to play on our course and some times the sheet is open for them to go alone. We pair them up when possible and many times after they're out of our site they break up. We are very aware of how to run a golf course and make the majority happy, we're sorry you choose to be in the minority.
Fairways and greens in great shape.
We will start coming here more often. This course was in great shape the restaurant is great. Of course it's worth a drive to get you here.

For the pricing, everything has increased, chemicals, fertilizer, and labor. We were no exception.
