A golf course out in the country
Nothing special. Course conditions rough especially since the greens were recently aerated. Pace of play okay with many singles and duos flying through the course. Overall good course layout and value but nothing special to rave about. FYI hole 1 is supposed to be a par 5 but the green was in such bad shape that they cut out a green in the middle of the fairway and is less than 400 yards. A hot deal is the only reason I would come here

We appreciate you playing our beautiful course. We are far from "Nothing special" even though we are having a difficult time with the green on #1. We have consulted with many experts in the business and are on the right track to fixing this green.
The front 9 is more of a traditional style course and the back 9 is similar to a links style. It brings the feeling of playing two separate golf courses. Our practice facilities are easily among the best in the Middle TN area.

A nice change of pace
Saddle Creek was a nice change of pace. I do not live close to the course so it was over an hour drive away. But worth the drive. The greens were in very good shape except for #1. Fairways were very good also. And the recent infestation of Army worms in this part of the country has not affected this course. It is a moderately challenging course but the "creeks" come in to play quite often. I think the weekday rate of $44 is a bit steep and I think it would get more play at the $30-35 range, especially when the temps are 90-95, as they were today.
Amazing Hospitality and a Good Course
Staff is so friendly and accommodating!!!
Be aware that on Thursday morning they close the range to mow so no warming up on your longer clubs. A couple of greens are being worked on so a little challenging but otherwise course in good shape an enjoyable course to play!

Good course- many lateral hazards. Hit it straight - no issues. Greens 2-18 good. Nice people.
Saturday play at Saddle Creek
Greens were smooth and fairways were excellent. Saturday course was full and played round in 4.5 hours. Great course for the value minded golfer.
Great course and staff
Grill closed so no rating on amenities.
Staff extremely nice and helpful. Very proud of their course.
Overall very nice from the range to the finish. Worth the 30 minute drive.
Maintenance on every hole
Seems like no matter what time I go off the maintenance crew is on every hole. Other than that is a cool track, rarely ever too busy.
Most players welcome seeing the maintenance staff around here because they didn't for so long. We are always trying to improve the facilities. We try to find slower times to do things improving Saddle Creek Golf Club. Thank you for playing, we hope to see you back soon!

I am posting this to owners, management, and staff of Saddle Creek Golf Club to express my appreciation for the excellent customer service which we had received from your team on our annual golf outing this past weekend. The Golf course is in amazing shape and very well maintained. The Food is 5 Star, the kitchen staff is amazing, I just cannot express enough how wonderful the food is. Most importantly, I cannot say it enough how truly amazing the staff is. It is by far the best Service I have received ever. All in my group talked about how we all felt like royalty.
Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend of golf and food. WE WILL BE BACK!!!
The Bankston - Groves invitational.
Course is okay. Getting better, but a lot of room for improvement. The Hot Deal rate provides very little savings.
Course is 6.5 or 7.0 on a scale of 1 to 10. It has improved s lot from previous years. There is still a lot of room for improvement. Several back tees need to be resided. Greens are not great. My biggest complaint would be that it is overpriced for the area. Also, the Hot Deal rate offered by Golf Now provided very little savings.
Best kept secret
I’ve liked this place for years now but of late, the course has been impeccable. Can’t beat it for the money, a little bit of everything a golfer could want, challenging but not ridiculous holes with a wide variety of required shots, and pace of play is always a non issue. I usually go to murfreesboro, Franklin, or Brentwood to play but this has become my “home”/ favorite course. Food is awesome, happy hour with good beer. Friendly staff. Overall excellent. Highly recommended. Good job SCGC on getting this place to where it is today.

Thank you for playing SCGC. Aeriation is a normal process and this particular aerification we did was the best we have had. We are almost fully healed up. We are rolling them this week to smooth them out more. "Greens r rough" is a misguiding statement. #1 green is being re-sodded in the next week. #1 is the only green we have had issues with. The 17 other greens are in great shape.
