VinnyLinks Golf Course

About
VinnyLinks offers nine holes of par-28 golf over 1,150 yards at Shelby Park. Three tee sets allow golfers to choose their distances to the Bermuda greens and a driving range with mats and grass, practice green, and bunkered short-game zone to let them warm up. The public is welcome, but this is one golf course for the kids, who get priority n weekdays during the summer and after school in the autumn.
VinnyLinks was built in 2001 and offers a short season from late spring to mid-autumn.
Because the VinnyLinks is a public golf course, golfers who can get on when the course isn't packed with budding juniors can golf a round for dirt-cheap.

Vinny Links
Nice little par 3 course that is well groomed. Greens were great. #1 is a 285 yard par 4.
Love this place!
I can go and play a quick 9 holes and everyone is so friendly.
Excellent for sharpening your short game
This is not a championship course, but gets 4.5 stars as a great rolling par 3 course to dial in your short game. If I lived in Nashville
I’d practice here mid week every week after work. Driving range looked like a really bad setup, so wouldn’t use it for that. But if you want to play your irons, wedges, and putter better, this would be a great place to sharpen the edge regularly. Other than the sound of the loud engines of the General Jackson or some other large paddle boat anchored in the river nearby, it was a very peaceful place to play. I even saw a group of does come out on one of the holes, munching in the fringe. Super friendly staff too!
Closed Course
For a weekend in Nashville some buddies and I went to golf Saturday morning after making a tee time and paying. Upon arrival we found that the course was closed for the marathon and no one was in the property to give us our money back. Please reach out to solve this problem.
Fun public course, $5 on golf now
Visiting Nashville for the line dancing and live music. Also enjoyed a little golf in the side. Course was close, convenient and cheap.
Can’t beat the price.
Not the nicest or biggest course but we’ll worth the cost.Great place to get some short game practice in.
It is what it is
If you need short game practice this will do the trick. Not well taken care of, but for less than 10 bucks, I think it was fine. If you have the time, you can find better 18 hole options nearby for another 10-15 bucks.
Fun 9 hole mostly Par 3 course
Fun little course, it’s ran by the city of Nashville so don’t expect it to be immaculate.
First hole is a PAR 4 every other is a Par 3.. Hole 5 is a little confusing because the way the tee is backs up to Hole 7. More than one person shot from tee box 5 to hole 7. Greens were alright but dry due to heatwave right now.
Driving range may be the cheapest in Nashville $4 for a bucket of balls. This time of year you hit off grass, other times you hit off mats.
Friendly staff, great for kids, shame GolfNow takes bookings when the course is closed.
Had a fun round with my son and will definitely return. Just need Golf Now to check it's information before taking bookings on a closed course.
No golf played
I took an Uber to this location from my hotel. Two kids were sitting outside the pro shop . I asked if this was where I confirm my tee time. They were confused and sent me down the road. After walking around I realized that that I was at the right area . I went back and spoke to them again and they informed me that the pro shop had flooded and that there were not clubs available. Waste of time and cost of two Uber rides. Golfnow needs to update their courses.
Donald Ross gem
This jewel was designed by Donald Ross- never built- and 80 years later his plans we're found and the course built replicating his greens..Under $10 to play, family friendly, The First Tee clubhouse is special, range is short but playable- 20 minutes from Titans stadium
