Nashboro Golf Club is home to a classically designed par-72 championship golf course that measures 6,887 yards; manicured Bermuda fairways give way to premium bentgrass greens. Grass aficionados will also be happy to know that the fairways and roughs both get plenty of rye grass seeds during the winter, allowing for ideal playing conditions year-round. All levels of golfer can get into the course's beauty - the fairways are lined with both mature trees and great vistas - and the strategically-placed water hazards and bunkers will also challenge seasoned golfers and novice golfers alike.

Cart path only
Decent course, came in from out of town and when we got to the course we were advised that it would be CPO cart path only. I wish there is a way that courses could let people know that their course is CPO. I would not have played if I was told of these conditions. As someone else had pointed out around hole 15 we saw some emaciated Coyote pups that were Mange riddled. They probably need to get wild life personnel out there and deal with them humanely.
Steamy Round in July
Hot conditions, but ample water available on the course. Staff not close customer friendly, negative vibe around pro shop staff. Greens were perfect hold shots and roll was solid. One crazy thing that was pointed out to pro shop after the round was complete: there were sick wildlife on the course. Hole 7 had a raccoon that was clearly suffering from some type of sickness. Couldnt even stand up. With frantic panting. On hold 15 there were two fox pups there, lethargicly moving and appeared to have the mange. Awful dead smell on the 15th tee. Informed the prison about our encounters and they were shrugged off as didn’t need to let TWRA know & nature would take its course. These sick animals are on a course in a densely populated area surrounding the course ? What the…..
Need more for the money
I liked the layout and the course was in pretty good condition. However, the pace of play was incredibly slow.
For $80, there should be a marshal keeping track of pace. We ended up leaving the group we were paired with and ended up three to four holes ahead of them within an hours time. No marshal checking any of that. If I were behind those guys, I would have asked for a refund.
Visiting Nashville
Fun round while visiting family in Nashville. The course was in good condition considering the amount of rain lately, including an30-45 minute downpour right before our tee time. The course had NO standing water and the fairways were very playable considering. Excellent layout and very playable for all skill levels. Greens were very slow, probably due to all the rain, but in really good condition considering will definitely play here again.
Locked ladies bathroom
Lovely course and quick carts. But had to use men’s restroom at 5:15 after playing. And 2 more gals as well. Then no syrup in soda drinks and he didn’t want to change it out - so no drinks at end of play.
A Lot of Potential
A great layout with a handful of challenging shots. Once they put a lil money into the fairways and bunkers, it'll be a nice course.
Some holes better than others
I write this course as very average on the hole. There are some grains where wild sprigs of grass were growing up, but other others that were just fine. The course lines around through a community with some challenging holes and a mix of easy holes. I would say this course is about a $50 value, but given that it's in Nashville, perhaps 60.
5.5 round on a Tuesday!
One of the slowest round I’ve ever played. 5.5 hour round on a Tuesday at 11 am. No Marshalls, nothing. Outrageous- nobody wants to play golf for that long.
