good experience
the only negative was the depth of the fairway grass. Must have been allowed to grow high and then cut. Clumps of grass clippings everywhere.

It’s the regulars who kill this course
I have played here several times and got stuck behind 4 regulars who refuse to let a single pass. I know what you may be thinking, the course marshal should speed it up. Well the course marshal hung out with the group for two holes just chatting. 2.5 hours of golf for 9 holes. Other than that, it is a good place to play (not pace of play).

Solid Muni Course
I started on the back 9. I'm visiting and luckily ended up on the right tee. I was joined by a local golfer. I had a personal guide for the day. I really enjoyed the back 9 more than the front. I received some below standard rental set. So my game was based on those clubs. No lob wedge. Short game suffered. I would pass on this course next time I come. I really wanted to be impressed but turned out to be a basic round of golf. Conditions were fine.

Good course
Good municipal course that at plays pretty good pace. No cart person so bring snacks and drinks. Make sure you have a tee time or you probably won’t get out. The par 3 executive course is pretty nice. 2 par 4’s, 7 par 3’s.

Great course for the price. Nice greens too. With all the Rutherford county courses going up in price Smyrna gc is a nice option to have!

Average Course, Slow Pace, Too Much Money
Had to quit after home 15 because it had already been over 4 hours and had somewhere to be. Had to wait to tee off at every hole and the marshal never asked the groups in front of us to speed up…
Course was in average condition though the layout was nice.
Wouldn’t play here again unless it was $30 or less. Even then I wouldn’t go out of my way simply because of the slow play.

this is a solid Municipal Track
Courteous staff, pleasant layout and course conditions and a reasonable price make this a regular play for me and my friends.

Course In Good Shape Considering
Considering the amount of rain we had and the storms moving through the area, the course was in fabulous condition. Greens, although a little on the slow side, putted true. There was a consistency of speed to all the greens! Fairways were fine, drained well, only a few low, wet spots here and there. Sand traps, however, were too wet to play out of.
Only one negative and a recommendation-please ask course marshal to NOT smoke around players, as some of us are allergic to nicotine products!
