Pine Creek Golf Course
About
Located east of Nashville in Mount Juliet, Pine Creek Golf Course claims to have the most well maintained greens in the area as well as some of the most affordable rates. The layout offers different challenges on the front and back nines for a diverse round. The first nine are links holes that tumble across rolling terrain while the back nine has a more traditional design with tighter fairways that require greater accuracy and strong iron play. The signature hole is the par-3 sixth, a hole generously framed with trees that crosses a large water hazards. It is a fair test for players of all skill levels but it was also designed with playability in mind. More seasoned golfers will find many risk-reward opportunities but beginners the forced carries won't punish beginners.

Honest review
Course has a very good layout and is fun to play. Course Conditions were good with the exception of 2 par threes had green work and course had temp greens. Unfortunately we were not told about this when signing in and was surprised by it. I would expect to be told and to be honest feel there should have a some sort of a small discount for this condition as the course is a bit on the higher side of cost. Club house and staff were great and friendly.
Good playing course
Has interesting features includes plenty of water hazards and a few sand hazards
Not worth it anymore
I’m done with this course until improvements are made. The par 3s again have temporary greens (with the hole being big enough to hold a soccer ball), and somehow the price keeps going up. It’s now $82 to play a course that feels half-finished and neglected. Meanwhile, you can drive right down the road and play a course five times as nice (range included) for just $10 more.
Every time I come here, I hope they’ve finally made some improvements — but nothing ever changes. They keep charging more for less, and it’s clear they just don’t care about giving golfers a good experience. Save your money and go somewhere else.
The Price and the Back 9 Greens
I love this course. I play it regularly. That being said, the 2 par 3s on the back 9 have been under repair/having the greens be basically fairways for at least 3 years. At this point it is inexcusable. Now the greens are temporary greens on both holes. Don’t let that fool you as an excuse because “it’s getting cold.” Again, it’s been YEARS like this. What do they do? Continue to charge more for a worse product. I sure wish my home course would step it up but they’ve shown that to not be the case. Unfortunate for a course with such tremendous potential.
“Public Golf”
Showed up on time, but the starter let late members (12 minutes behind) cut in front of us. They held us up through every hole—20 minutes each—backing up multiple groups.
We called the pro shop on 4, and their only response was: “That’s public golf.”
Translation: members first, rules ignored, pace of play nonexistent. Range mats only. Absolutely pathetic. $85 a round is hilarious even if the pitch marked greens were okay.
Overpriced for course condition
I have always loved this course. If the tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in good condition, it would be worth the money. Unfortunately there were multiple greens and tee boxes in very bad shape. Not worth the $75 green fee.
Greens
Played course plenty of times. Back 9 greens in bad shape due to being worked on. People who play do not know how to repair pivots on greens which is very annoying. 80+ dollars? Too much for the condition of greens
This is a fun course to play
The course was in great shape except for two par 3 holes. The greens on these two were in rough shape but it looks like the course is trying to save them. This course is great for beginners will wide fairways but still challenging if any skill level. I really enjoyed playing this course.
Overpriced
Green fees keep going up, course conditions never improve. Most of the course is good but the 2 par 3 greens on the back are about unplayable and have been that way for several years.
Good track. Wide open, not many dangers. Good for honing your skills. Greens in very good shape as well as most fairways, some a little challenged. Staff friendly and solid clubhouse with good merch and grill.
Great course!
Pine Creek has been a favorite of mine for 15+ years. If you've never played it, book a round. You will not regret.
Great course
Loved the course. Layout is fun with challenging tee shots. Greens are in good shape just wish people knew how to fix their divots. It’s close to being one of the best public courses in Tennessee!
