Smyrna Golf Course - Regulation Course

This was my local course growing up. Always have an affinity for it. The greens are slow but roll nicely (as long as some of the people in front of us would’ve picked their feet up; far too many scuff marks). The fairways were excellent. Really enjoyed the round.

Greens were bumpy and lots of ball marks. Greens need mowing,rolling, and ball mark repair. Fairways in great shape.

There were 2 greens on the back nine that had holes in them like a mole had been digging.

Course is in great shape, easy to walk and great price for a Senior Walker!

Course was in great condition considering the temperature. The Marshalls even had water that brought on their carts. Just a really great public course with great pace. Hard to find a 3.5 - 4 hour round anymore.

First time playing Smyrna and certainly will be putting it into my regular rotation! Shocked at how pristine conditions were for a muni especially compared to the nashville ones. Layout isn’t anything special in my eyes, but the upkeep was still miles above other courses at the same price range around nashville.

Rude experience with clubhouse staff, while trying to purchase a drink on the turn around, because she wanted to close. I also believe they let an unscheduled group of friends squeeze in between t times which I would be fine with, but the pace of play was already way backed up, and then they cut our round short on hole 15 with enough daylight to play at least two holes, just because they wanted to go home early on a Friday night. With the cost of play these days I expect a better experience.

Considering the high volume of play and the current high temps, course is in great shape.
