Wet but still playable
Cart path only after a lot of rain. But fairways were good and greens rolled well. Coming under new ownership and a lot of plans in the coming months of years. Will get even better. Worth a visit!
Starter was great
Starter was very nice and let us get on earlier, also answered our questions.
Bad first time impression of golf in Texas
Well it all started out great. Signage states to load your cart and then proceed to pro shop which was new to me but thought it was a great way to start. A fellow golfer explained how it works and where to go after my cart was loaded.
The gentleman in the pro shop was extremely polite and helpful. But unfortunately it all went bad when I arrived at the starter shack. The older gentleman told me and another golfer that because we were single golfers that we would have to share a cart and ride together. Well the other golfer and myself were not happy with that demand so we both refused and then the starter ignorantly said to just go ahead. Will not return to this course because of that rule.
Good course, but needs some work
In terms of value for the money, I paid about $93 a person I expect a lot more out of a course for that kind of money. The greens were patchy, some were sandy, and had holes. Grass overall should be better for the course fees. One great amenity was the free range balls. Pace of play was great. $65 a round would be good value for this course.
Acceptable
Five hours to complete a Friday afternoon round is simply too long. Course layout somewhat confusing and could be marked better. Greens are small. Tee boxes do not appear to be moved daily.
Great day to chase the little white ball
Played by myself, the groups ahead of me let me play through, nice local course to play
Great staff, not so great conditions
Really warm welcome by the pro shop and range staff.
Course conditions were poor however. Lots of sand in fairways and on the exceptionally bumpy greens.
Very little definition between tees and fairways
Disappointing golf round
Greens and course was in generally poor condition. The greens are full of weeds and Poa. Very poor putting surfaces.
Great Starter Excellent Cart Girl
The entire staff was great. The starter gave great course advice. The girl that checked us in was also the cart girl and she did a great job at both. Hats off to her.
Not worth the price
I’ve played here more than a few times. Fun course with some challenging holes/greens. Seems to get worse every time though. The greens are not good. Very bumpy with weeds growing on a lot of them. Doesnt matter how good you putt, it’s not staying on the line you want. I certainly don’t like paying $80+ for those conditions. I’m not asking for country club greens, but this is not worth the money. There are munies for less than half the price with better conditions.
Friendly staff
The course is in good condition except a bit grassy on the green. Overall, my wife and I have enjoyed the round very much!
Worst golf course in history
For what used to be a good solid condition golf course it has slipped to horrible conditions. Tee markers haven't been moved in months, tree debris is everywhere and horrible. Greens are full of poa Anna and slow and bumpy. Maintenance staff on course is rude and intrusive to your game. $50 green fee is a ripoff at best.
Great Value!
Great value for the price! I had been to the course before but had not golfed there. Greens and fairways in really good shape. Golfed with two others who play there often and had a great time. Worth an hour drive, plus the quality of the course, and the price. I'll be back!
Enjoyable Golf
We played Pinehurst to Point. The day was lovely and we were paired with two very kind men. The course winds through a neighborhood and is in ok condition. Greens are also average. Pro shop attendant was kind and professional. Awesome that the range balls are provided.
