Tour 18 Houston

This is one of my favorite places to play in the Houston area. Awesome course for scenery and play. The hot dogs are great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. (Almost don’t want to review to keep you people away. But, this place is worth it!)

People can complain all they want, but T18 is always a solid choice. Greens and fairways are always nice and the layout…well that’s why you go there! Got to catch a hot deal to really get value since it’s on the high end. Maintenance crew was scrambling during our round pumping out water from sand bunkers. Those will need some work, but they were on it.

Intermittent showers cased the cart path girl off early. Rain got serious after our tee shot on 17, so couldn't finish the round. Course played well through the showers, greens drained well enough to keep playing.... until lightning and flash flooding, etc.

Still, enjoyed the round before going home to watch the real Masters.

I played this course 20 years ago and decided to try again on this trip to Houston area. The reviews were marginal but decided to try. The staff in the clubhouse, grill, and starter group were all excellent, friendly, and approachable. The course itself has gone down slightly. The bunkers haven’t been maintained. They are playable but need some trimming and raking. The fairways were by and large very good. Nice firmness, well trimmed. A few thin spots here and there but that goes with this time of year. Greens were excellent. Good condition, smooth roll, held well, I’d play again. Good value.

Marshals were extremely rude and need a major attitude adjustment.

Although I was not at my best this day, the course offering was a good challenge. Most courses that I frequently play are mostly straight and wide open. This course truly challenged my abilities to hit fairways. Most of the fairways were in great shape. Some had a few spots in them but nothing I would condemn the course for. I have played courses that had far more issues for more money. Greens were well kept, firm and fast. Will be playing again ——> when I figure out my issue of course!

Had a late afternoon T-time , we only got 14 holes in. People learning how to play golf.

Never go out on a Saturday afternoon and learn how to play. Go md-week when no one is out!!

This is literally like my 10th time playing. Anytime I’m in Texas. I make sure I take the time out to play tour 18 at least once. The conditions are always great. The greens are always clean and rolling smoothly. Absolutely love this place. It’s really serene.

Everything was great. Heavy rains the night before so cart path only and no driving range. Totally acceptable due to conditions. Great fun !!

Needless to say, I had high hopes for this course. Unfortunately there was some dissapointment. The layout was good as it relates to famous holes, however they definitely letting the course go down. you can tell that at one time it was great shape. One shouldn't have to pay a high price just for the name alone. I definitely expected better maintanence. Again the layout was good, along with the pace and the weather. Also if yu're not going to have ball washers, at least put one on the cart. If you're only going to see the beverage cart on two holes, at least have more water stations with cups. Thanks for the visual.

The course was in great shape especially for the time of year. Lush fairways and soft but well maintained greens resulted in a great experience for my buddy and I.
