About
There's no doubt Red Wolf Golf Resort is a Texas-themed facility, complete with holes named after the Harrington's bulls (they are providers of bulls for professional rodeos) and a Southwestern-styled clubhouse. As for the golf course, Jay Riviere's design has always been considered a fine layout. Take advantage of the easier front nine by scoring well on the opening holes. No. 9 is the most difficult hole on the course. It shoots through a narrow opening uphill into the sloped fairway. This one is mean -- it was formerly a par 5 -- and requires a long approach over a lake.

Bad Bad shape
The staff was all extra friendly and the nicest starter ever. The course has recently received a fair amount of rain however the fairways had alot of long grass. The greens are absolute trash. Nobody fixes divots and almost like someone dragged a rake around the greens with sparse grass everywhere. Took 4.5 hours and waited on the groups in front of us at every T-box and everyshot!For $50ish on a weekend that price is still to much. Didn't see a cart girl till the 9th hole and opted to grab a snack at the restaurant only to find the restaurant closed, then cartgirl had no food!
Sorry to be my last time here
I’ll have to be in complete golf withdrawal to play here again. It drains well so usually first course off the cart paths; about the only thing going for this place.
Bad shape
The course, while I had fun with my friends, is in terrible shape. Mostly weeds and not grass. Lots of trash on the edge of the course.
Tougher Than I Expected
This course was more challenging than I expected. The back nine had more water hazards and was harder than the front.
Good day for golf
No wait time at all. Course needs a little more TLC. Still had a wonderful time.
Place need some investment
Course could be great but would need so much money sunk into it I don’t see it happening.
Bait and switch with Price charging double what they had listed.
Was listed as $25 normal price with no discounts or deals yet when we got to the course to pay he claimed that he could see the booking but it would be $55. Said we needed to call golf now to pay even though they set it so that you couldn’t pay online. Then tried to play dumb like he didn’t know. They were just trying to get people there via the cheap price and making them pay more once they get there. Obviously it’s not working as the parking lot was empty on a holiday weekend….. won’t ever be back, and shady business practices are not acceptable.
Awful condition
Did not see one grounds keeper the entire time. Course is in awful condition. Probably the worst kept course I’ve been to. Mad I drove out of my way for this. Writing this review so you don’t make the same mistake. The picture below is of there so called bunker. I should of taken pictures of their atrocious greens
Fun Course
This course was nice. The greens were in good shape. It was fun and challenging!
Lack of maintenance
I use to play a lot this course before they sale it and it was a lot log better in general the course fairways and greens uncut, terrible rough .
Always a great time
Had a blast as usual. Course is well maintained. Got to play with a couple of great older gentlemen
