New Golfer
This was my first time golfing out of state Marshall and starter were great in pointing me along the way. I have to say the grass is much thicker in Texas compared to Indiana. Greens today were super fast and something to keep in mind. Overall great course and look forward to playing again in the future.
Great Shape for current drought
The course was very good condition considering the extended lack of rain in our area. Not sure why the maintenance crew cutting the grass on one of the open nines. I would have thought they would have cutting the grass on the nine holes they had closed for the day.
H2O
Needed water on the course, not just from the cart girl. Too hot in July, need H2O.
First time visiting, pay then walk 1/2 mile back to parking lot to get golf cart. Almost missed my tee time. I better get there earlier next time.
Enjoyed the experience.
Old Tradition
Being that this was my first time playing this course, I'll do my best to fair. The course has been around a while, and it shows. The staff was very nice and helpful, the course layout was good, unfortunately the condition of the course was rough. I would like to try it again to see if the experience is a little better. I think the heat has something to do with the condition, of the course, so I'll definitely need to tee it up again.
Great Conditions for Hot Weather
There was only or two greens that had burn spots from the Heat but barely worth mentioning. Simple course layout a lot of straight away holes. They will group you up if you are a single golfer and they will put two pairs together as well. I had a 820 tee time and I wouldn't recommend teeing off any later than that unless your a die hard or a try hard haha. Gets too hot by the end of the round. This is 3 (9) hole tracks so the opinions may change depending on which 18 holes you play. Greens are slow but most are right now so it was expected. I went alone the put me with 1 member and another single golfer and they play the course once a week so had great advice on club selection and yardage to pin during the round. I would recommend this course. Green fee was definitely a great deal.

Fairways were great. Greens were superb. My only complaint involves the Tee Boxes. They need a bit of love. Otherwise, great course. I'll definitely be back...maybe next week lol.

A very great course for the money! I went mid week, greens were in great shape nothing to really complain about. Will be back!
