Nice course, great layout, good condition
Happy to see in these "unique" times and hot summer weather this course is being kept in great shape. Greens were slow, but I'll take lush grass and slow over baked and dead greens any day! Rest of course was in good shape too. They appear to have recently shaved all of the deep rough, so if you miss to the sides it could be good or bad depending on the hole (rough vs water).
Got this on a hot deal, so the value was amazing...but I'd play this course on the normal rate too.
I was looking forward to playing
I am visiting from Alaska, I Grove 2 hours plus to get to your course, I arrived approximately 15 minutes before my tee time Which was 1050. I which met by the gentleman in the pro shop and got my scorecard, went to my cart and realized I forgot to rent the clubs I needed because I am traveling and like clubs are at home. Mr. Pro shop told me that I needed to arrive earlier and it was still 10 minutes before the tea time and was basically treated very rudely. I wish I could rate the course but unfortunately I did not get to play And I will never refer anybody to this course because of the way I was treated .

Great course, better value.
This course is great for the price. Great views, lots of tree and rivers. There seems to be a lot of history here with a small cemetery on the back 9 with tombstones that date to 1860. Golf pro shop looks like it was built then but not sure.

Hawk’s Creek
First time playing here and everyone in foursome said they’d come back. Efficient staff and good course conditions. While appreciative of drinking water on course, not sure sand trap rakes weren’t allowed. I’m thinking more people will touch water jugs with non-golf glove hand vs touching rakes in sand traps. Definitely be ack.

Fun course! Great greens
Layout at HC is great! The greens were awesome. If the fairways were up to the greens standards this course would be elite. The greens roll true, have a nice speed and are soft and hold well. Fairways had some dry areas coming up to the green but I can’t complain much because we are in middle of the summer. They were still good. Nonetheless it’s an awesome course. Front 9 and back 9 are very different but both are fun in own way. Very much enjoyed my round here and will be coming back.
One thought I had on the driving range was I wish the hitting area was mowed better. The grass was good and hittable but it was a little furry. I enjoyed the many pins to hit at however.
Also another nice touch would be to Spraypaint the edge of the cups white. I feel this is a small detail that will enhance the look of the course.

Fantastic Greens
Overall the conditions were great and they had some of the best greens I have played in the area lately. Fairways also in great condition. Would definitely recommend.
