Beautiful day at Hawks Creek!
The charm of the stone clad clubhouse spilled out to fast fairways and well kept greens. Thanks for a stellar day on a well maintained and challenging track.

For Winter great shape
The staff was very friendly. They asked us to tee off early because of incoming weather. Even though grass was dormant, we had good lies in the fairways and the greens rolled nicely. The most important aspect was great place to relax afterwards and very cold beer.
Last round of 2019
Cant say enough good things. Only reason pace of play was a 4 is due to a late start because of frost. I didnt really mind, perfect day for golf! Will definitely be coming back!

Course is always in good condition. Practice facilities are great. Played the blues and love the challenge of the par 3s

Awesome
Considering it's so late in the year, this course is still kept in amazing shape. The greens are well kept and consistent, and the staff is fantastic. I will definitely keep coming back as the weather allows.

Lots of history with modern updates
What used to be the Carswell AFB course is now a totally refreshed design with a mix of difficulty and fairness. Good scores can be had if careful to avoid the obvious troubles. Greens are fast and true. Good putts are rewarded but speed needs to be right on. Highly recommend for a fun round at a reasonable value. Fine practice facility. Clubhouse looks like something from the 1800’s in Scotland.

Good overall conditions for this time of year!
Always enjoy getting to play Hawks Creek. Our threesome zoomed around the first 6 holes until we caught up with a foursome who was behind a threesome of elderly gentleman playing quite slow. Sadly we waited pretty much every hole on the the back nine, however the weather was super nice for December so we made the best and enjoyed the day.
The greens rolled nice, were quick. The only criticism was the cups when cut were left raised, not tamped down around the hole, unfortunately...

Great course!
First time playing this course today, November 27,2019, and even though the grass was dormant, the fairways were great to play on. The greens were in great condition as well, just the right amount of speed of play. I will definitely be coming back again!

Can't get enough
Hawk's Creek is a great golf course! I live 50 miles away and would still go there multiple times a week. Course conditions have always been great. Practice green is very challenging. The course is very fair...if you keep the ball in play, you are rewarded. Greg in the shop is a great guy too.
Love playing Hawks
Always a great place to play. Friendly and helpful staff (talk to Greg if you have any questions) and the girls at the restaurant are warm and friendly. The course will test every shot you have.

Needs to be in my regular rotation
Second time to play Hawks Creek. Its headed towards winter so the Bermuda is dormant and dry looking but the course is in great shape. well kept. Greens are green but really fast, not hard, just really fast. Traps are in good shape, har several chances to play them. I like the overall layout and playability of this course. Busy Saturday but pace was still good.

Well kept course
This course was very well kept. Best sand traps I’ve played in a while. I can find the sand where ever I play.
