The Club at Rebecca Creek
About
Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Fairways
Staff was awesome. Starter was awesome, mentioned how the fairways were rocky but have always been like that. Understood, but they could definitely do something to help those fairways. There was dirt in the middle of the fairways rocks everywhere on the fairways, very rarely hit on nice grass when in the fairway. The greens were great. There’s a lot of well kept places to play though for $50
Hello Codyweil, thank you for taking the time to review us, and for the 3 stars. We're sorry to hear the course may not have been in the best shape on the day of your round. We appreciate your feedback as we work to make any necessary improvements. Thank you for choosing to golf with us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon at The Club at Rebecca Creek.
It's a little unfair but...
It's been incredibly dry this summer so a lot of course are struggling but it's hard to find any grass to hit off of in the fairways and the rough.
There was grass on the greens but super slow because of being left long to deal with the drought.
I get it but I've played several other courses in the area and they've done a much better job with their watering and keeping their grass.
Great Texas hill country course.
Great course for a beginner like myself.beautiful hill country setting. Wide open fairways. Great staff, very accommodating. We had to drop a player due to illness and it was no problem. We will defiantly be back to play again.
Rather disappointing
My first experience at Rebecca Creek was one to remember, but not for the right reasons. I'll start by saying the staff customer service was top notch and the highlight of my visit, but the course was not average. The fairways were hard as concrete as they had big areas of hard compacted dirt. They did tell us at the clubhouse, but at that point, there's no real chance to cancel and go elsewhere. There were also many trees with no water hazards or sand traps at all. This made for an interesting round, but that was my fault. The hole layout was Ok except for holes 1 and 10. The driving range is right next to the two holes and you can easily lose your ball to the hundreds of driving range balls on the course. I guess if you play those holes with colored balls it would help, but I didn't know or have any on hand. Lots of work needed on the course fairway upkeep. The greens were good with a couple of small issues here and there, but overall, not bad. Maybe they are rebuilding the course, but I do not see myself going anytime soon. If it was a staff contest, I'd put them up against anyone. They were all fantastic and made the best of a not so good course situation. The driving range was not in good condition either. The bread was like St Augustine grass. Never seen one like that before. Sorry for the not so great review, but I was truly let down by the course.
Drought taking its toll
I have golfed here numerous of times. I get that the brutal summer isn’t helping with no rain. The fairways and tee boxes are horrible. The greens are ok ish. I have never seen a cart girl on this course. The entire course needs a lot of help, including the cart path.
Rebecca Creek
The clubhouse did not have any food available. Beverage cart was only starting her shift Y11:40am - s we were leaving the 18th green. Both services could have been better.
Floating and Golf
The greens were in good shape but the fairways were in bad shape. Looked like they were saving on their water bill.
Extremely poor condition. Can’t entirely blame the grounds team because of the harsh summer we’re having so far, hardly any rain… but, the harsh conditions really have exposed this golf course. Extremely poor tee boxes, fairways are awful, and greens are average. I’m sure it’s much nicer during a plush time of year. But in June 2022, 2-stars for the condition of the course.
Fun…..but
Since the greens are decent it’s a good value. The fairways are better than in the past but still need a lot of attention. River Crossing members and employees play free on Monday which has made the course overused and crowded!
Great Day
For early June the course was in really good shape. Very enjoyable round. Went single and paired up with a nice threesome.
Hi, slimbawb. We would love to hear more about your 4-star experience on our course. Please tell us what we can do to earn that last star, and thanks for golfing at The Club at Rebecca Creek!
