The Club at Rebecca Creek
About
Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Not worth regular fees
I was not impressed with the course condition. Fairways had little grass, mostly hard pan dirt. Greens were ok, very fast somewhat hard. I played because I got a hot deal, but I would not pay regular green fees ($50) for this course.
Good Warm Up Course
The course is normally in pretty rough condition. Only water the greens and the fairways are very rocky but I come here to get ready for the season and work on my game.
A shame terrible condition
The course is really bad shape with nothing good to say about it.
Loved this! Comfortable course with great fairways and grens
I was pleasantly surprised by this course. Having played a lot of different modest courses, this one comes in very strong, stronger than the best municipal courses out there to be sure. Do hot expect a high end country club feel but rather a well maintained course and friendly staff.
Could be a great course
This course could be a great place to play if the tee boxes received some attention. The fairways are bare and don’t have much grass to hit off of. I will say that the greens have definitely improved from years past but it makes it hard to get a good approach shot when you can’t get a decent lie in the middle of the fairway. Staff was friendly and the Marshall is constantly checking on everyone to make sure we as golfers receive an equally great time.
I will continue to play this course in the future but would love to see some attention to the fairways and tee boxes.
Rebecca Creek Golf
Pasture Golf. The greens were in great condition..that is the best I can say. The course has very limited irrigation, so you imagine what the fairways look like. The course has many bare spots and rocks. The layout is funky, without someone that knows how to get around, you will be lost...limited directional signs.
For the price and a quick round, 3.5 hrs..I will go back to give it another try.
Desert floor
I know the drought isn’t their fault but everyone needs to know that the tee boxes are sand traps and the “fairways” are like the desert floor. They have put all their energy into keeping the greens and I’m thankful. These are great people and we all need to pray for rain!
Fairways are not the best
The drought has taken a toll on the range and the Teeboxes/fairways. Everything is sooo dry. Having said that, the greens are great. Not too fast and not too slow. A few bad spots here and there on the greens, but compared to other areas, they're great. Pace of play was superb, finished in 4 hours 15 minutes, and that's with a little chipping/ putting practice along the way.
Poor conditions
The staff at Rebecca Creek are always friendly and courteous, but the course is in very poor condition. The tee boxes are covered in sand, and the fairways are nonexistent. There is very little live grass on the course, and most of the fairways have huge bare spots that are just hardened dirt. The greens were all in good shape, and they were the one bright spot on the course. I love the layout and the value of this course, but I cannot recommend playing there until the conditions are improved.
