The Club at Rebecca Creek
About
Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Literal Sandtraps for Tee Boxes
Got a good price. Not worth the drive from San Antonio
Good track gone rough
This course has been severely affected by the drought conditions in the weather. Definitely not the track that I remember playing in the past. He will take some time for this course to return to the level It Once achieved. I hope it gets bad… But will not return until I have heard otherwise.
Goat Track - This Does Not Stand for Greatest of All Time
Very disappointed the conditions! I should have known the conditions were going to be suspect based on the conditions at the driving range.
The driving range should be closed because there is no grass to be found. Just sand therefore it is more like a good place for bunker practice or getting out of a fairway bunker.
Hole 10 skirts the driving range without any protection to the sides or the ends. This is what I would think a west TX golf course would like from the movie Tin Cup.
This was not challenging at all. The only saving grace of this place was the beverage cart was seen more than once and the greens, although slow, were in fantastic shape.
The Marshall informed me that the conditions were such due to the watering rules they have to follow. Wish I would have know that before booking. For the price it was not bad but wow this place needs some serious help for its tee boxes, driving range, and fairway conditions.
Beautiful greens, brown and crispy fairways
I really like the course layout, and the greens were really nice, but the rest of the course is in such poor condition it was really difficult to play. Just about all the grass is dead in the fairways the tee boxes are non-existent as far as grass is concerned and they are as hard as a rock. I joined up with a group of very nice ladies who made the day fun.
Don't waste your money
Course was in rough shape. Tee boxes were all sand, no grass. Fairways hard as rock. Rough was nothing but rock, dirt, and weeds. Greens were the nicest thing about the course, but still not great. Staff was insistent on the 90° rule with carts, what a joke. Take better care of your course then you can try to enforce those type of rules. Will not be returning to this 18 hole sand trap.
Save your money
I played there last year and it was in pretty bad shape then but it was summer so I decided to give it another chance! My son and I played Sunday and were ready to go home after the first few holes! I hit my ball down in the fairway and had trouble finding it because the fairways were so shaggy and over grown. Most of the tee boxes were bald some were like teeing off from a bunker! I think they should put hitting mats on the tee boxes until they can figure out how to grow some grass.
The putting greens were in pretty good condition and we were warned they were a little furry and he wasn’t kidding they were lt was putting on carpet slow.
The staff was friendly and pleasant that makes the experience better.
Best bang for your buck around Canyon Lake!
Some of the best greens around. Majority of the staff was amazing. Food was delicious and Golf was super fun! I will be back.
Course was disappointing
The tee boxes were in terrible condition.
The fairways were a " cow posture".
The greens were fair.
The staff, including the starter, were very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great. My wife and I played in less than 3 and a half hours.
Worst course around San Antonio
What a joke. This place should pay you to play there. Fairways are pastures and they have the audacity to incorporate a 90 degree rule. Why? So the weeds, rocks, and dirt don’t get matted down? Either get water trucks out there for the fairways or close the course. It’s that bad and you’ve been warned.
Fun course
I like to play here. On this visit the greens were firm and fast. The course was in pretty good shape--except for the tee boxes. They were more like sand boxes than anything. Even so, I enjoyed my round.
We are currently in a drought, plus there is no way for us to get water to the course concentering the drought. Maybe pay for trucks yourself. :)
