About
Since Jeffrey Prieskom purchased what was then an average 9-hole course in 1998, Oak Grove has rapidly become known as one of the finest courses in the area. With the addition of nine holes that opened for play in the fall of 2000, as well as continued improvements over the past few years (new greens on 7, 8, 14, and 16), this now borders on a being a spectacular 18-hole course. Thanks to the choice of tees (ranging from 3,177 to 6,804 yards), anyone can enjoy a round here.
Getting there : Located west of Texarkana off of I-30. Take the Red River Army Depot exit (No. 206) and proceed south to the main entrance of Red River Commerce Park. The golf club is located straight ahead. Turn right into the parking lot at the sign.

Course conditions
Three good things: pretty piece of property, with a decent layout and a good cart path.
Three very, very, very bad things: horrible greens, neglected, non playable bunkers, and water-starved, threadbare tee boxes and fairways.
The management should be ashamed and this course should be removed from the golf now app.
I’ll never go back unless someone I really trust tells me the condition of the course has dramatically improved!
good to see again
Poa anna paradise. Realize it is very early in the season but putting was like pinball with the ball careening off the clumps. Grass has not come in yet and when the drive, even some second shots hit the ground, hold on. Straight forward course. Just aim for the 150y poles and play smart.
Spring is coming
The course is ready for some warm days to make things grow! Cory, Don Man and Slim are working hard everyday. Kady and the ladies are keeping the coffee pot full and carts clean.
Fun teach, but needs some TLC. Greens are the worse part of this course. Might as well just give yourself 2 strokes and move on. Staff was super friendly. Hopefully they get the greens turned around.
This is a nice challenging course to play for the price to play. Fairways and greens could use some TLC. Staff was extremely friendly.
Help
The course had a High School golf tournament and we did not get to play. No one told us that the golf course would not be open to the public. Golf now took my reservation. The girl at the course said she told Golf Now that they would be having the tournament.
Can I get credit even though I missed the 1 hour before tee time? Please! The girl said you may call her in the morning and she would verify this story! Thanks
Not Happy!
Golf now missed this time. This course has been priced close to what the course is worth, Now you guys have raised the price well above what is fair! Guess you guys have joined the rest of the country and become greedy.
Great course for a stop through in Texarkana area
Played here on the way through Texas. It’s a bit off the path but it was in great condition for early December and it’s a fun course that wasn’t overly difficult. The only complaint was I guess they’d gotten a lot of rain before I played so the conditions were really mushy; and also some of the sand bunkers had rocks in them so I ended up just taking drops. Would play again though if I was in the area.

The course is improving each week . Greens are good . a little bumpy, but good.
Great experience
Greens where in excellent shape, only complaint is all the tree branches piled up next to every fairway.
Sandy greens
All in all the course is good seeing a lot improvements. Although the greens where very sandy .
The course is in good condition for this time of the year. The course is soft and playable. the greens putt much better than they look. It appears the green super has set the course up for success. Some warm weather and sunshine and the course should be the best public offering around.
