About
Since Jeffrey Prieskom purchased what was then an average 9-hole course in 1998, Oak Grove has rapidly become known as one of the finest courses in the area. With the addition of nine holes that opened for play in the fall of 2000, as well as continued improvements over the past few years (new greens on 7, 8, 14, and 16), this now borders on a being a spectacular 18-hole course. Thanks to the choice of tees (ranging from 3,177 to 6,804 yards), anyone can enjoy a round here.
Getting there : Located west of Texarkana off of I-30. Take the Red River Army Depot exit (No. 206) and proceed south to the main entrance of Red River Commerce Park. The golf club is located straight ahead. Turn right into the parking lot at the sign.

Good people and great play!
This course may be a little off the beaten path. But it’s worth the journey. Y’all come out and take a look! You’ll have great time!
Great course. Needs a little TLC but getting better every time I play there recently.
course in good shape. prefer grass cut a little
shorter, greens need to be aerated. Value for the

Greens are the ABSOLUTE WORST you will ever see
I am a long time member. I have watched this course grow from a 9 hole to an 18 hole I have seen all the ups and downs over the last 30 years.
As of spring of 2017 the greens are officially the WORST ever
New owner has concerns about lots of things and has improved the course in many places and has spent lots of money on improvements
But the greens are terrible

Holes 8 and 11 are completely unplayable

A fine round
The course was in great shape. We played a foursome and scrambled. We all scored well. The carts are new and in excellant condition. The course was clean of debris but could have used some cutting a little in the first rough.
Good greens
The rest of the course was a bit baked out and very firm, which didn't hurt the drives! Greens were watered and held the ball well for some good pinseeking. They were also pretty quick and rolled pretty true.
