About
Since Jeffrey Prieskom purchased what was then an average 9-hole course in 1998, Oak Grove has rapidly become known as one of the finest courses in the area. With the addition of nine holes that opened for play in the fall of 2000, as well as continued improvements over the past few years (new greens on 7, 8, 14, and 16), this now borders on a being a spectacular 18-hole course. Thanks to the choice of tees (ranging from 3,177 to 6,804 yards), anyone can enjoy a round here.
Getting there : Located west of Texarkana off of I-30. Take the Red River Army Depot exit (No. 206) and proceed south to the main entrance of Red River Commerce Park. The golf club is located straight ahead. Turn right into the parking lot at the sign.

Good day on the course
OG is one of my favorite courses in the area. Not many people on the course so pace wasn’t an issue. Course played really well considering the time of year and all the rain the area has gotten in the last week, so very please by this. Only knock is that there was a lot of trash on and around the course (beer bottles and cans, styrofoam cups, food wrappers, cigarette butts, etc.). Really hate to see the lack of respect people have in that way.

Course in reasonably good shape for our current dry conditions. Really needed ice in water cans.

Value for $ during non-peak times
The course is good value for $ if you can play during non-peak times.
Found it for as low as $15 w/cart.
Plenty of room for big hitters. Fairways not always mowed as low as I’d like and rough is very tall.
All-in-all a course id play daily if I lived nearby.
casual player
Good course, greens were fast, need bathroom on course fixed, on hot days need a beverage cart brought around with iced cold drinks. Goose poop on greens need to be removed.
Good Value for the money
Greens as good as any I've played this year. Very fast! Old time layout that requires shot shaping. Lots of leaves on the ground, so bring an extra sleeve of balls!
