2nd, par-4, 398. Walter Travis’ penchant for high quality bunkering and mounding is clearly evident here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/30/2022

5th, par-4, 336. Short but lethal, this downhill, two-shot hole nonetheless offers a beautiful Green Mountain backdrop. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/30/2022

8, par-4, 398. One of the deeply embedded greenside bunkers may prove hazardous to your score after an errant approach shot. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/30/2022

10th, par-4, 355. The spire of the First Congregational Church of Manchester is struck by late-afternoon rays of sunlight. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/30/2022

12th, par-4, 361 (center of photo). At twelve, a drive and pitch hole, you’ll want to miss all of the eleven bunkers. The scenery, though, is not to be ignored. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/30/2022

13th, par-4, 423. The toughest and maybe best hole at Equinox, this brutal “Volcano” hole will test you fully from tee to cup. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/30/2022

Great track!
Been coming to the area for 15 years and this was the best shape I’ve seen the course, particularly the greens. Staff was very friendly but didn’t Mention that 2 of the holes (8 and 18) were on temporary greens. Other than that highly recommend!
Equinox
Beautiful course with excellent views. 2 holes under repair but overall course was great. Staff super nice.
Good start to the season
Course is in excellent shape. Currently, three greens are in the process of being renovated as well as all of the sand traps. This course is always in beautiful condition and the views of the green mountains are incredible.
great track. lots of fun, great views, good condition...
Spring golf in Vermont
Tee to green was excellent. Greens had been top coated so putting was uneven. This is springtime so must expect maintenance for better conditions to come.
Early May Golf
Great condition for so early in the season . Staff very friendly. Unfortunately TOO early for the opening of their pub.!
Ok- but not as expected
The Equinox, heard a lot about it and when we came up to Manchester for my daughters wedding, This was a good opportunity to play it. An OK public course, in fairly good condition, but the bunkers??? Totally unacceptable. I thought maybe they were under construction, but from the other reviews, I guess not. Put some sand or maybe crushed marble (in keeping with Manchester, similar to Augusta) in the bunkers! The shot over the street is funky, wonder how many cars have been hit since there is no warning either on the course or the street! No food at the clubhouse. Probably a one and done. Have to figure out how to play the original “private” Ekwinok or nearby Dorest.
Nice course but bunkers need better drainage & work
Very nice course- bunkers need help though - shouldn’t have stones the size of quarters in a bunker & #18 needs total redo
Good conditions
Nice layout and conditions other than the bunkers. Walked w push cart which was ok though a bit of a workout w some of the ups and downs.
Worth the Trip
Spectacular views from all over the course. Great shape greens and fairways. Sand Traps need some work. Teed off at 240 played with a guy 9 holes then the back alone. Caught a group last 2 holes but still was done by 6pm. You will pay 25 for a cart if you book thru GolfNow. But 55 total to play that course was worth the 3 hr drive home. 7th hole was interesting. Par 5 2nd shot you have to hit over the street that you can’t see. Pretty cool hole.
wrong time of the year I guess
first - everything was closed - no food, beverages nothing. loved the course but the girl at the desk was as friendly as a of anger wasp.
Great course
Even better with nobody on it. Temperatures approaching 90 must have sent others to morning tee times. Afternoon we had the couse almost to ourselves.
Mr. Sandmaster
Beautiful course with some breathtaking views.
It’s unfortunate that some iof the bunkers are completely unplayable An upscale resort should have excellent bunkers!
Green Mtn of Vermont
Resort course..thinking temperatures approaching 90s had most players teeing off in morning. The afternoon made the course look like our own private course.
Fun layout
Really liked the course, fairways, tees and greens in great shape, some of the bunkers were a little rough but looked to be from recent heavy rains, hopefully fixed up soon. Pace of play was 4:40, but it was a hot humid day so may have accounted for that. I would definitely play again next time in the area.
This course is well below par
Staff was not welcoming. We asked the starter for help because it was our first time playing this course. He pointed to the first tee box. Failing to give us the information on how the flag positions were marked. I have never seen sand traps in worse condition. You couldn’t walk in them without falling because of the rocks and lack of sand.. there was no apparent attempt to repair the traps. There was no rain fall in the 4 previous days. I tried to talk to someone about , but no one was available to hear our Concerns.
Overall this was not worth $80 never mind the $170 we paid. I would never recommend or play this course again.
Fire the starter
The round was going well. 1:40 for the front nine and then the starter decides to stick a 5-some ahead of us on the 10th tee. When I went into the pro shop to ask for an explanation the person told me that the group had left after playing 9 in the morning and came back to finish their round. What?!!! Tell me. Is this acceptable? We were treated as persona non grata from the start and until that happened I was willing to let things slide. GolfPass patrons beware: this golf club is anything but inviting, cordial, and professional. Shame. It is a nice layout, in good shape.
