About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

Grizzly
Not enough carts for all the golfers. Had to wait on every hole on the front 9. A two-some and two 1-somes got paired up by the starter. Then, some other golfers yelled at us for it even though the starter grouped us together. Starter also came out at one point and told us to speed up. Yet, the carts said we were almost 10 minutes ahead of pace of play. Spend you money elsewhere.

In Good Shape!
Grizzly in good shape. Tees, fairways, greens all good. Rough is fairly dried out and thinning out but that isn’t unusual at this time of year. Had not played there in a while. Was good to get back and play there again.
Range area need some work — not in good shape — maybe that will happen after the tennis tournament is complete.
Chipping and putting area very nice.

We have been in a league here for years . They send out high school golf teams in front of us…. THREE HOURS and TWENTY MINUTES LATER WE FINISH( NINE HOLES ) Absolutely ridiculous . You would think leagues would have priority, apparently not . Other than Jack the management team here is a joke . Andy one of the pros , complete clown.
Bottom line you take care of league players , they pay the bills. Not one ranger out there to address this situation.

The Grizzly & the geese
Course in ok shape in general but still a lot of goose poop in misc. areas. Not much to do about it but if you’re sensitive to it you might want to play elsewhere.

good course, not friendly starters
Like the course a lot but last time we went the starter on the back 9 said that we played the front 9 "too fast" and have to wait for 5 groups before going off the back. Thankfully the group coming up next told us to go in front of us and agreed that was a ridiculous statement.

Ladies Tees
The ladies tees were placed in fairways! No real
designated red tee boxes fir ladies.
And signage to holes were not up and we had
