About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

Pretty decent but…….
Due to construction the layout was funky. GPS did not align with the holes. Mist bunkers were very thin with very little sand. Very disappointed considering that the remainder of the course was very good. Also a heads up from the pro shop about the change in layout should have been addressed.
Scattered course and staff
Got their plenty of time. GolfNow checked in online. picked up golf cart. Went to starter. Was told oh, you need receipt, you should have checked in club house. Drove back to club house. They said you should have come here first. I explained app said check in online. Then they gave me receipt. Drive all the way back to starter with receipt. Now he says, ok, I don't need receipt. But there is another single in your group, so you need to combine to one cart. This was the beginning of a very long day. In the end. I left after Nine holes. Paid for 18. Course under construction. Detour after every hole startingwith #2. They should be more welcoming, starter acted like Sgt. Bilko.
Not happy.
Should have asked for refund, that would have taken another hour.
Patience
The Grizzly is a fun and challenging track that is still evolving. Although currently awkward, we can’t wait to see the finished product when all the renovations are complete. If you’re looking for something consistent and close, the Mason Golf Center is worth considering
Huge disappointment
Course in poor shape. We had to play 6 holes on their academy course. They charged me 25.00 for my handicap son to ride along and just watch. Most courses I take him to charge no more 10. Will not be back. The course is way over priced for current condition and use of academy holes.
The Grizzly is a very nice course
The course is in the process of being improved and the 4 alternate holes you play worked out just fine. Congratulations to the Course Management for such a pleasant golf experience in the middle of a course "re-do".
nice just construction
the course was very nice even after all the rain we had the days prior too it. really enjoyed it and would play again. had lots of construction on the course and couldn’t play a really fun looking par 5 cause of it but that’s ok and I still enjoyed my time there
Overpriced for what it currently is.
When the construction of holes 4,5,6, & 7 are done and the greens have recovered from being punched and top dressed this course will feel less of a rip off.
I'm most disappointed that i was charged a full $70 without any indication that the course was under construction and that the greens haf been punched and are sandy.
I was unable to post my round because of this.
6 Hour Round
Took nearly 6 hours to play 18 holes. Tees off at 10AM and was finishing on 18 at 3:45. Great course layout but they need to work on pace of play and spreading out tee times
Good shape considering
Course played pretty fast but still had to wait a few times. They are redoing some holes so they took advantage of there extra holes from the academy course. Greens rolled good even though golfer do not like to fix there divets on green. Parking is a work in process long way from cart barn.

Large part of course is under repair". Greens just aerated. Will be nice when construction is done
Some construction detours
A few holes u see construction along with the parking lot and neighboring tennis compound. Fun round in early season. Great price through GN will definitely bring us back.
Overall the course is in great shape ..The course is under going many changes and updates..So you might have to play some academy holes in the middle of your round ..once these finish I will play often ..Speed of play was slower then I like ..But maybe course confusion led to that .
Only 5 real holes on the front 9
You play 1 then 4 made up holes then 4 real holes and they change full price of by the way you'll need a car wash from parking in a construction site what a joke
