About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

Great course, great staff!
Had a wonderful day at the Grizzly course today. Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Staff always cheerful and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Pleasant surprise
Nice Track. Friendly staff. Very playable despite very wet weather leading up to my round. Will play again next time in town
Slow play
The course needs a ranger to limit slow play. Actually I lost interest in my game due to slow play and just wanted to be through with the round.
Beautiful course
Course was in beautiful shape. Staff could have been a little bit more friendly. Can’t say they were rude. Just not very nice.
Love The Grizzly!
Wow! Course was in fantastic shape and pace of play was great today. Friends we invited to play with us said best track they’ve played so far this season. Fairways were inviting and greens were impeccable. Finished off the day with a wonderful lunch in the clubhouse.
Great course
Got out at 7:30 got done by 10:15. Really enjoyed this course. First time playing it and Will definitely play again
Terrible ranger
One of the rangers gave us a hard time right in the beginning about pace of play and proceeded to tell us playing best ball was the slowest way of playing and that if we dont pick up our speed he will split us up. Now, for 1 we are all fast golfers and hit long we play par 5s under 10 minutes which is way quicker than the 15 min allowed. 2. how can we play faster if the people in front of us are on the tee box when we pull up but yet didnt say anything to them for holding us up for 7 minutes every single hole and looking for balls in the woods for countless minutes. I love this course but there is no reason to give us an attitude about pace of play when we are way under the time allowed. He was a jerk in general and if he thinks everybody playing their own ball in a 4 some is faster than playing best ball think he is a moron. He ruined our entire round because we felt super rushed the entire time after especially since everybody was mad about how he was treating us. As much as i love playing this course i dont think we will be back. Customer service is a huge part of business and that guy has none .
Nice Muni Course
The Grizzly is a nice muni course. Wide fairways; not a lot of trouble. No lost balls! I'm a 67 year old man who shoots around 100 (up from the mid-80s when much younger) from the white tees. Good half-pound cheeseburger and beers at the 19th hole. I will return!
Quality course and playable
This golf course is one of the most enjoyable places to play. The staff is super friendly and accomadating. It plays very fair and is enjoyable.
Course is in great shape . Pace of play quick. Only thing this course needs is a world class practice area .
