About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

Nice Muni Course
The Grizzly is a nice muni course. Wide fairways; not a lot of trouble. No lost balls! I'm a 67 year old man who shoots around 100 (up from the mid-80s when much younger) from the white tees. Good half-pound cheeseburger and beers at the 19th hole. I will return!
Quality course and playable
This golf course is one of the most enjoyable places to play. The staff is super friendly and accomadating. It plays very fair and is enjoyable.
Course is in great shape . Pace of play quick. Only thing this course needs is a world class practice area .
Bashfuldan
Love this course, pace of play can be spotty at times. Sand traps are in a desperate need for some fresh sand. They are thinning out some of the old trees helping air circulation and course condition. Some tee boxes need some rework as over years, not all are truly flat. The veteran staff are all great and willing to work with you and help.

The course was in great shape. Greens were quick and challenging.

Great from tee to green. Practice are needs alit of work . The city should do something. Course is always busy. Do some capital improvement in the practice area .
