Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course

This golf course is owned by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority and is about 30 years old. It has Zoysia fairways which is nice. The greens are always is decent condition. The terrain is gently rolling, with no severe hills. It's a good walking course. This review was based on a round played on 2/7/25 on a day that was sunny, in the mid 40's, wind gusts of 20mph and very wet fairways. The practice putting green has pins that sit on top of the green, instead of cut holes. I prefer the latter because it provides better feedback. Getting back to the round, it was a good day to experience very difficult playing conditions which requires golfers to make adjustments in club selection.

I booked a golf tee time at 12.10pm last Monday, at brambleton golf course. I used to play golf here through golfnow. It rained a little that day and chilly . There weren't many golfers. / I started the round earlier than it was scheduled and finished a little than i expected. around 3.10p?

The weather was a little cloudy and it was about to rain. might be 3.30pm?? ,when I was trying to leave the parking lot and arrived at the main gate . Surprisingly, the main gate was locked. The main office of the golf course was also already locked and there was no one inside. I looked for places where people might be, but there were only three construction vehicles and no one there.

I returned to the main gate and called various places, but no one answered, so I left a message. It was starting to get dark and I was scared. Then, a friend I asked to help me arrived first .and then I got a call from the golf course manager . He said that if I waited, someone would come. He said someone would come, but while I was waiting, they never came, by the way,

my friend barely managed to get my car through the narrow alley, and I was able to get back home. It was such an absurd, difficult, dark, rainy, and scary moment for me, the gate was locked and i was trapped. It was such an absurd, difficult, dark, rainy, and scary moment for me.

There was my car in the parking lot at 3:20p, but they locked the main gate at that time and left??? It was a really terrible day!!!!!
